As a tourist in Ennis, YOLO came highly recommend for us as a must stop restaurant while in town. I had a hard time believing that a restaurant called YOLO could be any good, but they actually had a really good batter on their fish and chips. Other than that though I didn’t see anything special about this place, very much just an average pub in my opinion. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful.

The«Jolly Roger» is the best drink I have ever had and the food is reasonably priced. Loved this place and miss it now that I have left Ireland.

Yolo is a great bar always a few in here on the weekends good atmosphere. They did a great job doing the place up looks very well. They also have a good beer garden. Well worth going here. On another note I went for lunch here last Friday and had the fish & chips I don’t know if it was just a bad day or what but the fish tasted awful. I had to leave it behind me, now the other people I was with said there dish was ok but nothing to write home about. So maybe leave the food but the craic is good and the bar staff are nice.

YOLO is very nice and modern/upscale. The staff is friendly. I went on Thursday night, which was ladies night, and everyone was dressed to party. The DJ starts at 2130. This was the place to be on Thursday night. I understand there is live entertainment from time to time. This is a great Euro Bar.

Yolo is a great new pub in Ennis. I say ‘new’, but it actually occupies the former Kings/Library location. That being said they have done a complete remodelling of the interior and I must say, it is not only better looking, but a much better design all around. The staff are very nice — it is partially owned by the same crowd that owns Charlies so if you are a regular there you will probably recognise many of the staff. The drinks are on average with what you would pay elsewhere in town, which is good considering many of the larger pubs of equal size usually bump up the price, but not here. They also have transformed the upstairs into a large dance area which works well with the new design. Best part — there is no cover to get in, even on the weekends. If you are heading out in Ennis then Yolo is definitely worth stopping in for a few pints sure.
