ESPA – Powerscout Hotel

The ultimate in being spoiled rotten. We had a private couples suite. Simply sensational. Left invigorated, refreshed and über relaxed after my 80 minutes deep tissue massage. So relaxed I actually forgot how to human for a while

I am typing this very slowly cause the pampering I received here has me blissfully relaxed.
This amazing spa is part of the Powerscourt Hotel and Golf Course, just an hour outside Dublin. Beautiful grounds provide stunning views from the silent relaxation room on the first floor of this two floor spa and leisure centre. I booked the autumn delight package which included a facial, a massage, lunch and full use of their facilities. The booking process was easy and I got a phone call the day before to confirm all the details again. I make my way out to Wicklow early that day so I get to spend as much time as possible there. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. She shows me my locker which had a little personalised note in it– very nice touch– as well as slippers, robe and towels. Everything is immaculately clean and ESPA scented candles provide a relaxing atmosphere throughout the whole spa.
The pool is made from tiny black and silver tiles, it looks absolutely luxurious and stylish. There’s a jacuzzi, a hamman, steam room, sauna and another smaller pool upstairs.
The treatments I received were top-​notch, a very knowledgable and skilled therapist looked after me and got the massage just right.
Overall this place is so worth every cent. I left feeling pampered and utterly relaxed and would recommend it to everyone.

Great pool and lovely steam room. The treatments are very expensive though so just spent the day in the pool. There is a day spa across the road called the rainforest day spa for more affordable treatments but not anywhere as lush as this place!

Great spa to spend a few hours relaxing and pampering yourself. Fabulous facility, great therapists and the sauna, steam room and serenity room is just magic.
Would come back here anytime. Weekday specials and Sunday specials make it a great place for a day trip :-)
