My husband and I stopped in here on our last night in Galway. Feeling a bit homesick we wanted a change from the pub scene and found this hidden gem. It’s off the beaten path but well worth the journey. The husband and wife duo know what they’re doing. Jenny’s Irish and her husband Scott is American– and they make the perfect team. I had the loaded potato and salad while my husband had the filet– both meals were amazing! Huge portions, wish we could take leftovers with us! We highly recommend this place!

I love this place. When I worked nearby I visited every Wednesday with colleagues. The food is consistently excellent and the service is excellent. The owners who also host the venue are exceptional — you will not find a warmer welcome in a restaurant in Ireland. I love this place and love everything about it. I recommend the «Mel’s Diner Burger» which is just phenomenal, but everything on the menu is good including the ribs (when available) and the breakfast items are delicious. Also the desserts are excellent too. Best restaurant in Galway HANDS DOWN!
