Galway is a college town. This is one of their late night dives and it was so sinfully yummy. There was nothing healthy about this meal, but it tasted out of this world. You come here after leaving the pub!
We ordered the taco fries & Donner Burgers. The burgers are more like gyro meat and they come with Tzatziki sauce, slaw, some type of spicy red sauce, lettuce and cheese. So sensational. Check our my pics to see what I mean!

This place is so good. The doner kebab is huge. Don’t even think you are eating it like a pita. This baby requires a fork. Tasty lamb, lettuce, fresh onions, and a generous heap of creamy garlic sauce would be delicious enough but they put a purée of spicy sauce on top too. It turns up the heat in just the perfect way.
You can add fries (chips) and a drink for 3 euro more. They fries can be topped with a number of sauces like cheese, chili, taco (meat, cheese, taco, sauce) or my favorite, curry.
The restaurant has three tables in the back but mostly seems like a take away spot.

I loved the guys here and the food. Particularly the taco fries. Might be the best thing in the joint. Great place to get some drunk food on your way home, and if you flirt a little you might get a Coke for free!

You know what? It’s pretty good, well the foods pretty good and affordable which is saying something in an overpriced city. The garlic sauce is a bit strong but the portions are large. Try the donor kebab.

This is one place I find myself missing in Galway for a quick bite, especially the garlic sauce. A musician friend introduced me to the kehabs which was delicious however can be a little bit pricey for a student to enjoy after every drinking meal. The fries whether it be garlic, cheese, or taco I partaken on many nights even my last one. The place may appear small, but it is what makes it wise for meeting up with friends rather than in the crowd at Supermacs across the square. The stairs on the side lead to the bathroom. The placing of stairs in an eating or drinking establishment that leads to another floor with a restroom still perplexes me to this day and can be a cause of concern for the intoxicated.
If it is a lashin rain, you can call for delivery with friends. The burger is good and decently priced too.

The kebabs here are pretty good, but the taco fries are absolutely life-​changing. I’d make the trip to Galway for those alone.

This place has the best kebabs. The secret is to always ask for extra garlic sauce. I honestly don’t know that much about the rest of the menu because I fell in love with the donor kebab from the first time I had it. I’ve eaten here probably 7 times and it has never disappointed.

3.5 stars. Great spot to go for a late night food snack after bars. I got the charcoal special for 13 bucks which had tons of meat and delicious! The food can take a while to get ready though.

Went here for a late night snack — this is a good cross between a chippery and a mediterranean restaurant. Small eating bar in back with a couple of tables, and a well-​presented front kitchen where they grill your food or slice the haunch of meat in the window.

Es gibt Momente, da staune ich über mich selbst. Zum Beispiel bin ich über ein chinesisches Restaurant in einem kleinen Ort auf dem Sinai, Ägypten, überrascht. Genau so ging es mir in Galway, als ich dort einen Dönerspieß sah.
Natürlich ist ein Chinarestaurant in Ägypten genau so falsch oder richtig wie in Deutschland. Aber hier geht es mehr um den Döner in Irland, der mir dort deplatziert vor kam. Wir hatten Hunger und schon lange kein Döner mehr.
Wie auch immer, es war vielleicht der beste Döner, den ich bisher gegessen habe. Ein Verwandter (der auch das Bild fotografiert hat) fand die Döner nicht soooo besonders, egal, von mir bekommt der Imbiss 5 Sterne.
