Finally the gods of the tourist industry have heard my cries and answered my pleas to provide this city with a sophisticated cruise experience down the Liffey! I really can’t recommend this more: I’ve been on DBC cruises twice now and would happily go a third time should someone be willing to pay my fare. (…Any takers?) I found the staff to be so warm and welcoming, and loved the running commentary provided at random intervals along the journey by the captain of the boat. The cruise oozes Irish hospitality, and the banter that was going on between the staff and customers set the tone for a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. They sell drinks and snacks on board too, which is a nice touch, and the wine in particular was surprisingly good value(better than what you’d get in most Dublin pubs, and not too pricey neither!..)

My review is the opposite of the below one! I’ve been on numerous cruises with these guys and couldn’t complain. Clean boats, punctual, nice staff, reasonably priced drinks and nibbles and no bouncy trips with seasick passengers! This is teh perfect way to spend a nice day/

The good: — The scenery is beautiful — Very relaxing if you enjoy being out on a boat — It’s easy to book through their website — You get to know a bit more about the coast of Dublin, Howth and Dún Laoghaire — There’s a bar and a bathroom on the boat The bad: — It’s hard to identify where the cruise is departing, they should have more signs around the pier. — The boat was late — and we were asked to be there half an hour before departure. The boat only arrived 15 minutes after that. — The crew was a bit too rude Don’t do this if you get seasickness, it sounds obvious but a lot of people were very seasick and two even threw up. There will be waves, especially if it is a windy day.
