I love the tapas here! They’re tasty and the calamari and chicken skewers are delicious. They do a good value early bird menu too.

This is a good economical choice for tapas. The portions are pretty generous for tapas. You won’t find the wide selection as at some other tapas places. But prices are good. the venison cooked in dark chocolate and plum was interesting to try and turned out to be delicious.

Went here for my friends hen party, there was about 20 of us and this place was grand. The food was nice, not the most delicious tapas I’ve ever had but for a hens it was substantial. We got the Special offer, shared platter, 2 tapas each and two drinks for 27 quid! Boom… and they were actually really sound with the drinks aswell because if you didn’t like the beer or wine they were offering other drinks too. Great location, right in the middle of everything and a buzzing little spot. Service was fast and the staff were pleasant. Only thing I would say is that if you like prawns, here they come with the head and everything still in tact… if youre like me, I prefer my food prepared so I don’t have the messy job. That would be my only quim ;)

We were sat at the bar as the restaurant was fully booked. We didnt mind so much though because the atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very friendly. Even though we waited 30min for our food because of a misplaced order, they offered us bread and a free drink for the inconvinience which was such a pleasant relief from the lousy service ive received in restaurants lately. Our food arrived shortly after and may I just have a moment of silence for good food… wow wow wow! Amazing food. Well worth the wait and fantastic service to top it off. I would come back to kilkenny just for this place.

This is a nice spot with a good menu, good wine list and a nice quiet atmosphere.
There’s some nice options for vegetarians, and the food is really excellent. You get decent portions, and all my choices were really delicious.
The waitress was really friendly and attentive; she brought more toast when our stocks for hummus we’re running low without having to ask.
I thought it was pricier than actual tapas in Spain, but I thought the portion sizes were very generous.
If I had any quibble, it’s that the seating is a little bare and uncomfortable; but this restaurant needs only tiny tweaking to make it a Unilocal 5-​star.
A great spot, and we’ll be back.
