This is a surprise find in Killarney where one can enjoy an excellent French meal with wonderful piano accompaniment. The food was superb, with fresh oysters, authentic and delicious French Onion soup, and lobster thermidor!, something we have not found in many years anywhere. Wife had black cod with cream sauce with grapes, very lovely and delicate! Shared an excellent dessert of meringue with ice cream and fruits. Very attentive and friendly service. An overall wonderful experience.

Can’t believe that no one else has discovered this wonderful place. White linen tablecloths and exquisite service, but not pricey for what you get. I started with the best mussels I have ever had, followed by John Dory that was heaven. My husband had onion soup that he said was quite good and a gorgeous steak that he raved over. Huge wine list, but nothing by the glass. Half bottles available and wine in all price ranges. We loved it!

A bit on the pricey side but oh so worth it. The ambience is very old world with lots of dark wood, linen table cloths and subdued music. The menu boasts local fare and seafood is their speciality. They have a very extensive wine list from the sublime to the ridiculous. The cod main course was absolutely amazing, best cod I’ve had since I was a child living beside the sea in Donegal. It was fresh fresh fresh and the prawn in filo parcel starter with garlic cream sauce was exquisite. The mashed potatoes were wonderful and the veg was well cooked and presented. Beware portions are on the large side. Booking is also advisable.
