We paid for the two hour ride and although it ran about 15 – 20 minutes short we were happy with it overall. The main guide was very friendly and pointed out various sights throughout the park. It was an absolutely beautiful ride. We did go through about a mile of thick thorn bushes, so if you’re doing the ride through the park it’s imperative to have thick pants and knee high boots on. I had shorter ones on and regretted it. They have rubber boots and helmets to wear which are included in the riding price of 65 euro per person.

Awsome experience. Did the 3 day trip in july and it was great. Rode through the countryside and the beach. Stayed at excellent hotels in killarney and Glenbeigh. Plenty of time riding and the guides were friendly but not overbearing. Horses were well mannered, calm, but also still had personality. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves to ride.

This was the greatest experience ever. Everyone that works there is extremely professional and the tour was fantastic. I rode the horse Jack, and he had the best temperament and made me so comfortable. Afterwards the owner of the stables was kind enough to drive us back into the town. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

When I parked at my hotel in Killarney I was approached by a gentleman who wanted to take me on a horse and buggy ride threw the park and let me see all seven lakes and the castle. Sounded nice enough until I checked into my hotel room and saw that they had riding stables at the park for the same price. My friend and decided it would be money better spent to on the horse instead of in a buggy. We had read some of the trip advisor reviews and were a expecting very snarly tour guides and that was not the case at all. We are both experienced riders though it’s been a while for both of us and had two brand new riders with us. The guides gave us information about the mountain the park and the animals as well as helping the beginners handle the horse and ride properly when we trotted. We had read a tripadvisor reviews that said the guides were rude and just left after the tour. Yes the guides did for the most part leave right after we dismounted but they had to get the horses back in their stalls and get ready for the next tour.(I know this because I saw it happen as I was waiting in the office for them to get back from their first tour of the day). I am a huge animal lover and am always concerned about the welfare of the animals and you can tell these horses are well trained and still have their own personalities. You can tell that they were happy and well taken care of which at the end of the day is the most important thing to me.

The most incredible vacation you can imagine. Spent 5 days horseback riding across Ireland with a small group and a personal guide on a lovely Irish horse. We rode the Ring of Kerry, in County Kerry, Ireland. The scenery was varied from mountains to bogs to forests and beaches. I recommend this horse holiday! Riding style is English. Riders need to be comfortable being in the saddle for 4−6+ hours a day with the ability and stamina for lengthy trots /posts & canters. Their customer service is top notch.
