This is a great place to go for a quiet cup of really great coffee and wonderful service. You’ll feel welcome among the local crowd that is often here — even as a tourist. The ambience is cozy and quiet. I would suggest it to anyone.

After sitting on a bus for several hours, grabbing an Iced Javachip was fantastic! Really hit the spot(especially with the extra espresso shot). Had a ham and cheese«toastie» as well which was delicious! Pleasantly surprised with the presentation of everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing place to recharge our batteries a bit before moving on. Be sure to stop in for a coffee!

They had a bit of a problem with the credit card reader when we were there, but it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. They gave us all our food and let us pay after(giving us time to run to an ATM) even though you’re normally supposed to pay up front. The coffee and scones were a perfect light breakfast, and we ordered some sandwiches to go — which were still delicious after a few hours. Great, cheap stop for breakfast!

Great little place for light breakfast. Coffee, scone and toasty were yummy. They also have cookies, ice cream, fruit smoothies and a great selection of tea and chocolates. Staff is very friendly. Snug place to enjoy the rain!

Great coffee, scones and ham and cheese toastie. Free chocolate with check in. Great service. Recommend when you want coffee or a quick bite. Eat in or take away. Just of the main town area.

Delicious spot for breakfast and coffee! Don’t bother paying € 12.50 for the skimpy breakfast at your hotel. This place serves up delicious fresh scones, toasted sandwiches, and awesome coffee. A very nice atmosphere as well!

This place was great! One of the girls was incredibly nice and welcoming. I got one cherry scone and it was so good I got another. Plus they have soy milk for coffee! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again, but you can’t leave Killarney without buying chocolate from here.

Ever wondered whether the € 12.50 per person breakfast cost at your hotel was worth it. I did and decided to skip it. Went next door to the Lir Café instead. Small, cosy and clearly a local haunt — this was definitely worth it. Although only toasted sandwiches here(2kinds: cheese and ham, and double cheese) and a scone or croissant, the coffee is strong and quite excellent. Price was spot-on too! Great place.

Great coffee, decent yogurt-and-juice smoothies, tasty ham-and-cheese«toasties,» and a grand selection of chocolates and snacks. Hang out and listen to great music, or take your order away and enjoy!

Nice People and Good Coffee /Tea /Truffles We visited Killarney for a week. This was the first business we walked into — to ask for a directions and a nice barrista guided us directly on our way. We came back and enjoyed a pot of tea for a 1.75 euro — nice deal. We ended up coming in almost every morning and hanging out using the wifi — and the scones were excellent. We got a box of guiness truffles on the way out. They were always quite helpful with our questions about town — the staff here is a real winner.

We were shopping in the area and saw this coffee shop and decided to stop in for a cup of coffee. I wanted a caramel type of coffee, which was not on the menu board, but the lady was very accommodating and said she could make what I wanted. She was so friendly! The drink turned out more of an espresso than a cup of coffee(I may not have been specific enough) but the drink was still good. Plus they have soy milk here. They had a bunch of baked goodies displayed in the counter so I also ordered a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. It was seriously one of the BEST cookies I’ve ever eaten. Delicious!!! This café has free wifi in case you need to get connected to the web. I think passwords are for patrons only though. It is a small café but very cozy and warm.

Cute place for something hot to drink and a bite to eat with free wifi. Just ask for the password to access for the wifi. The only contingency for the password is that you have to be a patron.
