Loved my stay at the Ross, it’s a really nice hotel in a great location. The décor is very colorful and makes it a fun hotel to stay in. It was always busy in the bar and restaurant and they do gorgeous cocktails! Even better is that you can use the leisure facilities across the road in the Killarney Park Hotel, we went for a swim everyday! Will definitely be back and would really recommend for a weekend in Killarney

Had lunch here yesterday. was nice and quiet. The waitress Sandra was lovely as ever. i LOVE the chicken curry in the bar and even though it wasn’t on the menu for lunch, they were still able to get it for me. I’m not awkward usually, but it is the best chicken curry in Killarney. my friend had the chicken ciabata. both were excellent. the only thing that always upsets me is the portion is so big i never finished my curry, and its a shame because it was amazing. thanks again.

We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. It’s a great little boutique hotel with by far the BEST location for staying in town. They’ll direct you to park in the sister hotel across the way(which has a larger more country club feel). The boutique hotel was super clean, great bathrooms!, stylish, and delicious cozy breakfast. I posted the view from the top floor community patio and view from our room with the gorgeous church. We splurged and tried a 12 year Jameson in the bar. The staff were all very friendly with specific hints and directions for sights. Great jumping off point for Dingle or Ring of Kerry but PLENTY to see in town. You can walk across the street and catch a carriage ride through a beautiful national park to Ross castle by the lake. It was sprinkling a bit so we cozied-up with a blanket and ended up seeing a deer. Jeremiah was very laid back and great conversation. Loved Killarney and Ross Hotel! I’d go back in a minute.

This hotel was awesome! The rooms were clean and the bathroom was huge! It was right in the heart of town which was terrific! Don’t be deterred by the parking being a block away. My family stayed here, reluctant about the parking situation, but it was fine. You can unload your stuff right in front of the hotel, and the block walk is a short one. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They gave us many suggestions for things to do along the Ring of Kerry drive we were doing and places to eat at in town. They even gave us suggestions for our next destination(Galway) upon our checkout. A definite stay again!

My husband and I did a 5 day trip in Ireland, driving from Cork to Dublin. We chose The Ross on a whim, got their last room avail, and FELLINLOVEWITHTHEPLACE. We also had previously spent 5 days in London and this hotel was by far our best experience of our whole trip. The service was impeccable. We arrived later in the evening, pulled our car by the front of the hotel to drop off our luggage(parking was like a block away) and the front desk gal came outside to greet us and offer help with the bags. We are from the States, so maybe we are just jaded with horrible customer service everywhere, but this place brought it back in spades. Several other occurrences of friendly assistance like the example aforementioned even prompted me to write a letter to their upper management to rave about how fabulous their front desk people are, as well as the hotel itself. The hotel is cool, centrally located, and the linens are cozy. The place is just a nice boutique hotel with fabulous customer service — a breath of fresh air compared to some of the big chain hotels. I highly recommend The Ross.

Wonderful hotel with a lovely restaurant. Hubby and I stayed here for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay… rooms were spacious and clean, terrific blend of retro/contemporary style with a modern twist. We had two minor complaints, however, and the first was that due to the location, we could park at the Ross’s sister hotel, Killarney Hotel, up and across the street since the only other option is to park on the street which is paid parking. It wasn’t too much of a bother, except we had to schlep our bags and other items across the street to the hotel. My other issue with The Ross was the noise emanating from side alleyway directly beneath our room. We were on the 2nd floor, and the side alley was loaded both nights with noisy people at the bar along with pulsating, loud music. Honestly, this hotel was wonderful except for these two issues, so I could only give three stars. If you are staying here, ask for a room on the quiet side, not the side where the alley runs between the hotel and the tiny little church. Way too loud to fall asleep!!!
