Didn’t actually get to eat or drink here. We were very much looking forward to it based on the few reviews we found. When we finally located the place(nowhere near the location noted on Unilocal), it was crowded but not overcrowded. After sitting for a few minutes we asked the bartender for a menu and were informed they were not serving food. Contrary to the menu, reviews, AND sign outside the door noting they serve till 9pm(it was 6:15). Disappointing to say the least, would have loved to try it out.

There aren’t many pubs that serve food after 5pm or so, we found this out by trying to get some a few times in a row but always ended up here — at Ned Kelly’s because they along with Jim Edwards do serve food at night and compared to the local restaurants the prices can’t be beat. For a great price you get service with a friendly smile, delicious food, and of course if you’d like it — it is a bar — a pint. There’s plenty of large flat screens to watch games on, and although we never stayed for it, there’s often live music. I got soup twice — excellent. The hubby loved their fish n’ chips. Where to find this little gem: the intersection of Market Street, Pearse Street, and The Glen.
