Was here for a pit stop on a tour. Nice selection of items, almost like a full fledged grocery store. Cheap 2 liter waters, 0.69 €. If you’re not a local or Ireland, don’t try the«aero chocolates» where you can feel the bubbles. Ads for them everywhere but they’re really not that good and not worth 1 €…they just feel like really holey chocolates…

Londis in Kinvara has a great selection of products and is conveniently located in the centre of the village. Some items are a bit more expensive, but if you live or are staying in the area it’s definitely more convenient. The staff are all really really friendly, especially the butcher who is always very attentive and knowledgable. Don’t forget to bring your own reusable bags!

Supposedly a bit more pricey that the supermarkets in Gort, but still, this is a great place to pick up groceries if you’re staying nearby. They have a great selection, including fresh baked goods and a large amount of delicious cheese. There’s an ATM in back — essential given there’s no banks in Kinvara — and an ice cream shop in front for those hot summer afternoons.
