A group of us stayed here last weekend and it was grand for what we needed– somewhere just to put our heads down and leave our bags. There was nobody available to check us in when we arrived which wasn’t ideal as two of our group wanted showers before we set off again. We maybe should have rang ahead with a check-​in time so it wasn’t all the hostel’s fault. It is old in parts but was clean and warm. Showers are big, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was basic but free so no complaints there. Right beside the sea and in the lovely town of Lahinch.

Most important thing is that the room was clean, toilets too but no hand soap and no hot water in the showers. The bunk beds were to low so not enough room if you sleep in the underneath bed.

This hostel was the perfect place to put our heads down after a night out. It’s just off the main street so theres no walking for hours or having to pay out for a taxi. It was very reasonably priced and most rooms have four bunks in so its great for groups. The beach is also right on the doorstep, what more would ya need!
