Wonderful energy on a Sunday evening! Met some fun people and had a wonderful wise bar tender to help us understand the Irish culture better! Want to go back again and again!

Brilliant bar. Always a good vibe! Staff are awesome and the booze on tap is always excellent! I’ve been to this bar on many occasions and I always have a good night. My sister held her birthday party here last year and the staff went above and beyond. We ordered finger food and brought in our own cake which they let us keep in the fridge and then serve to all our guests. I would highly recommend this bar for please over 25. Friday nights they also have live music and most Thursday’s there’s an excellent Jazz band too!

Went to Jerry Flannery’s bar with a group of 11 people for a few drinks after a meal recently. The bar was busy but not packed and we found an area where the full group could be together. Everything was fine until about 11.45pm when they ran out of ice! Can’t believe they didn’t! Have an ice machine in a busy city centre pub! At 12.20 (closing time was 12.30) one of our group ordered two pints of Guinness which duly arrived in two plastic glasses. When he questioned the barmaid why they were serving Guinness in plastic glasses, he was told that it was because she wouldn’t have to wash the glasses after. My friend politely asked for the Guinness in real pint glasses and declined the plastic glasses. The barmaid then got extremely rude and said that we couldn’t have real glasses and that if we didn’t want the plastic glasses, that was fine. She then proceeded to pour the two pints down the sink. We asked to speak to the manager and explained what had happened. He said that the plastic glasses were for health and safety reasons as the pub was very busy. The pub was actually less busy then it had been earlier when we came in. In fairness to him, he again offered us the drinks in plastic glasses but we politely refused and left the pub. As a group of 11 people who had already spent a fair bit of money in the bar, we felt that this service and the rudeness of the barmaid was unacceptable and very disapointing
