It was all really great food and reasonably priced for being such a nice place. I did feel slightly underdressed… Service was great– it was late night and they were closing and were very polite about not rushing us. Great atmosphere as well. I’d come back to try more cocktails! Had a lychee shot… yum…

I was referred here by a chap who manages a well known hotel in Limerick!
I love Chinese food but was reluctant to come as I did want to eat crap quality food which most Chinese’s tend to offer.
Well, I was certainly wrong on this one. The food here was second to none. Quality is definitely top of their agenda! Atmosphere is great, cracking background music and the staff are really polite and helpful.
We had starter, mains and dessert and we weren’t let down with any course.
This is the place for lovely food and it you want to entertain someone, you can’t go wrong here!

Came here when I was in dire need of some spice and taste. After a bunch of burgers, fries, potato, etc. I needed an Asian fix.
Decently good food when you’re in Ireland. Pretty fancy. They have a cheaper deal before 7pm, and a 21 euro one for dinner (appetizer, entrée, and dessert). The waitress seemed a bit curt, but did accommodate all our needs.
We ordered a thai red curry (that we spiced up with chili — ask them for it), salad, and veggie packets, good enough for 2 people and the bill was $ 30 euros including our $ 5 charge for two white rices.

If you are looking for upscale Chinese food, this place is pretty great. A good place to try for vegans and vegetarians, too. Definitely check out the Vegetable ‘Packets’ and, if you like spicy food, get your entrée Szechuan style instead of Kung Pao style. You can also order a half-​bottle of wine which is perfect for two people, and the desserts are fantastic! The waitress we had was very nice, but could have been more attentive. She made up for being mostly absent by hooking us up on our bill by re-​configuring our order to fit one of the dinner combo specials. Must try!

This Chinese restaurant has been there a long time and does very well on a Sunday because it has a lot of room and serves a good selction for a good price, however unlike the other reviewers I really don’t see what makes the Jasmine stand out from any other Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been in, they’ve all got gold and Dragon’s which there is nothing wrong with but the all look kind of the same ! The only difference is in the food and the Jasmine does serve tasty food hoever due to it’s size it does serve up food sometimes that is for quantity rather than quility.

The Jasmine is at the forefront of modern dining in Limerick. The restaurant is extremely smart, with white linen and silverware, but there is a lot of glass and dark wood to modernise the interior. They revamp the interior at least once a year, so everything always seems fresh and vital. A few years ago this was a ‘must book’ type place, however now I am yet to have an issue just walking in. This is largely due to the increased competition, and the opening of the ultra trendy ‘Hamptons’ down the road. The cuisine is modern Chinese and oriental with a lovely wine selection although desserts are limited.

Going out in a group of 16 people to a restaurant on a Friday night is not a good idea if you haven’t booked! However, the family have been to this restaurant several times and they accommodated us around a huge round table with a «lazy susan» in the middle.
The food was wonderful with an amazing selection, the service impeccable and the ambience lovely.
Although it is located up some rather steep steps, they do have a lift for the disabled which was great — although my mother flatly refused to get on it!
