Penny’s?! More like euros! I had to spend 7 euro on a pair of pyjama bottoms, way more than I was expecting to spend. To buy a whole new wardrobe it could set you back € 80 or thereabouts. Not the place to shop if you’re on a budget

Ah, Penneys. Where else can you go in with a tenner and come out with change, two dresses, a winter coat and a t-shirt with a wolf on it? Frankly, nowhere. It has a particularly fine selection at the moment, having gotten over its fluorescent leggings phase, but just don’t expect to be treated like the prince/princess you are. The staff members are busy and really don’t have time to search for that jumper you love in an alternative colour…

A medium sized Penneys. Not as big as the ones in town but it still has quite a good selection. Penney’s is it’s usual super-cheap self and is great for those items where quality isn’t that important. Where else could you get a woolly hat for 2 euro… and speaking of woolly hats they have their winter stuff in already, which would be depressing if it wasn’t for all the spangley hats, scarves and gloves that Penneys sell! Also I have to put in a word here for their hair and jewelry stuff, you can find real gems amongst all the tat. OK when I say ‘real gems’ I don’t literally mean real gems, but certainly you’ll find some stuff that no-one will believe came from Penneys!

This Penney’s is another bargain great! Every time I get to the checkout the price is less than is on the label! It is a lot bigger than the one in Rathfarnham Village but smaller than the one in Dundrum! But the sale selection here is much better than Dundrum. The under ware and children’s section are particularly good!
