So I gave this 3 stars only because of the goings on in the restaurant. The food was fantastic, the ingredients were top notch and I was mega impressed. The staff were fantastic, nice, and helpful. But… The place was overrun by mums and kids all screaming and running around. Yes, one even ran out the front door almost to the busy road outside with the mum in hot pursuit I might add and all was ok, but this was the second time he did it. No one asked them to control their kids. The noise and disruption to staff and other patrons was allowed to continue so I can only presume its encouraged as the child step beside the loo. Well for the reason alone I wont be back. I hate rude people and people who feel they have a right to disrupt others are simply bad mannered. Its quite drafty also and was cold.

A hidden gem sandwiched in between the outskirts of Ranelagh and Rathmines– atmospheric, relaxing bistro. Menu has options from very simple eggs your way with toast to full blown steak! Service is slow when busy but friendly. Food is fresh and tasty and well presented –a definate must for that rare sunny day in Dublin with its outside terrace;fear not there are blankets given to wrap up in for that evening chill. They also serve dinner at early bird prices or 2⁄3 course ala carte menu from € 22!Serves wine and A fond favourite of mine with tasty wines and local brews!

Starter was chicken wings so delicious! My vegetarian quesadilla main was ok, not great. A bit plain. But the sweet potato fries on the side were divine! Got a cake selection for dessert, chose walnut and coffee cake. Could tell it was either a few days old or burnt cos it was very stiff and not moist at all. Staff were very friendly and professional, décor cute. Overall a pretty good dinner.

What a nice little find. This place is so cute. They have delicious brunch food. I had the poached eggs with salmon, orange juice and a lot of coffee. They sell some nice kitchen stuff too, and the prices seem reasonable. They have a really cute garden, which I’d like to hang out in when the weather gets better. It’s a little out of my way but it’s totally worth it.

I love this place! The service is great and they have a really beautiful garden. I also love how it’s in this relatively quiet/empty neighbourhood(not that Dublin is overly crowded anyway). If you’re confused about what to order; try the Pizza Ranchero – a combination of breakfast and Mexican food that tastes like pizza. I’m totally coming back here to try out their Eggs Florentine.

Do you like pizza, mexican food and eggs and don’t want to have to choose? This is the place for you. I just had brunch here as we stumbled upon it while trying to buy some(somewhat hungover) snacks at Mortons. The restaurant was bright and airy, the servers were friendly and the food came out quickly. I got the ranchero pizza which is basically huevos rancheros on a pizza. It is as good as you think it will be. It is literally my day after drinking dream food. The cheese was gooey and delicious, the egg yolk made a nice wholesome sauce, the beans added substance and the salsa was sweet and spicy. This is one of those places that I want to keep secret so I won’t have to wait for a table but I feel it is my civic duty to let people know. Come here, it’s great.

Yet another too-cute-to-boot addition to the general Ranelagh/Rathmines area! In search of a good brunch? This is where it’s at. Want a freshly-baked croissant, still warm from the oven? Sweet you’re in the right place. Oh, you like whimsical outdoor seating areas, do you? Whell, look no further my friend! Their coffee was on the somewhat bitter side, but that’s pretty much where my criticisms end. Everything else about Peperina is positively delightful, and that goes from the scones, croissants and smoothies, to the dishy, dishy waitors and quirky décor! Mmm-hmm!

Lovely neighbourhood restaurant. The place is cozy, staff very friendly and the food very nice. Even without the voucher I think it is great value with the three-course dinner menu coming at € 23. Will definitely come back

I came here for a mid-morning breakfast and coffee with my cousin, who highly recommends this place. When I came in, it was nice and bright, with the back area full of colourful cushions and nice seating. The staff was friendly enough and they left me alone while I waited for cuz to park. We ordered the eggs, any style. The scrambled eggs were yummy and the coffee was good, though not very strong or very hot. The portion, especially of toast, was a bit too minimalist for my taste. Good thing I had some breakfast earlier in the morning.

When I went there, it was for a few reason, first it’s a place not far from where I used to live, and then because I decided to try this restaurant from the beginning. I use to park the car just in front of that place, when the place was empty. I decided going there. The food was nice and fresh, no big portions, but I did not like the service at all. I remember I went to the cashier to pay the bill and the owner was there. He was not polite at all and a bit arrogance. There are manner that you never need to forget when you work in a restaurant, as a owner or waiter, and in life as a general rule, you need to express thanks.

Lovely, chilled out atmosphere, friendly service and nice surroundings(including outdoor area). I had the serrano ham and manchego cheese sandwich which was nice but not exactly a taste sensation. A star down for being slightly off on my dish and another half star as its a bit pricey for what you get.

Went here on a Friday evening with friends. Chilled out atmosphere was matched with good service from the friendly staff. The food was good but portion sizes a little on the small side from what I would expect. Overall a very enjoyable casual dining experience and I will return again.

I came here on a saturday using a Deal Rush voucher I had purchased, which included a three course meal with a bottle of wine. When I first arrived, the tables were all full except for our reservation. We were quickly sat while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. We never felt rushed by the staff, and they were friendly and attentive. To start I ordered their calamari, which was quite nice, which was quite nice, and not too big. It was good for a single serving, but probably not enough to share. As my main, I had the Seabass with Ratatouille. It was very flavourful and tasty. And for dessert, I had their warm chocolate brownie filled with salted caramel. The brownie was FANTASTIC. Everyone else that was in our party stated that their food was quite good. I would definitely come here again. In a way, it’s in a poor location in that it’s not on a main road, like the restaurants on Ranelagh rd. However, in a way it’s a great location as it’s quite close to the Beechwood LUAS stop, so you can quickly get into town if you want to go out afterwards.
