Insomnia

Kinda hidden away from the bulk of the coffee shops in Sandyford on Fuze Road you’ll find Insomnia.
I’m not going to go on about the coffee as it’s just not great at all.
They do have a nice selection of sandwiches and toasties to pick from. And if you’re meeting a friend for a catch up its a good spot as you can usually get a seat. It’s nice and big inside.
The staff are really nice and prompt.

This insomnia is on the bottom floor of the building where i work so obviously i have been inside gazillions of times! Of course it has all the same stuff as every other insomnia in terms of food and coffee and little cakes and the great offers that you can get in town apply out in Sandyford too!
My reason for writing this review is the staff though. I have to say that the girl who works in there is just so lovely. Today i went down and she isn’t there because i think she might have gone on maternity leave but i hope that she gets taken back because she is the friendliest lady ever and she already knows your order before you even get to the counter, she has learned off what everyone comes in to her likes.
A few months ago there was another guy working in there whose name translated into stephen (I’m sorry «stephen» I can’t remember how to pronounce your real name!) anyway this guy was even nicer than the girl I talk about above, he was always so cheery and upbeat and made you smile on those mornings when you just didn’t want to be in work. Everyone in my office agreed that he made the best coffees and hot chocolates (and probably every other drink) that they had ever tasted and it wasn’t the ingredients it was his skill, he knew those machines inside out. One day though he was gone, the owner of that particular insomnia moved him on because one guy in our building didn’t like him.
So this review is a «bring back „Stephen“ campaign» review. And a warning that while this is a good insomnia, you should not get too attached to the person who makes their coffee because the owners of this shop do not understand that customers are creatures of habit and they like someone to know their coffee ways intimately and any change can really upset them! I know some of you know what I’m talking about!
