I ordered a steak sandwich with fries and salad. In literally the last bite of my sandwich, I chomped down on something very hard between my teeth. What I took out of my mouth was an inch-long, clear piece of plastic. When I reported this to the barman, he took it into the kitchen. Several minutes later, a woman in her 60s, who I took for the owner/manager, emerged from the kitchen, holding aloft the offending piece of plastic. The first words out of her mouth were«This piece of plastic does not match any of the containers in our kitchen». This statement was quickly followed by «Oh, and I see your plate is empty and you finished your meal». Basically, I was being accused of putting the plastic in my own food! I was so disgusted by her inferral that I was a liar and a thief, that I demanded a full refund. She then asked me for my full contact details«for her records», which I supplied, even though I don’t think she had the right to do this. In the end, she gave me a full refund but as a parting shot said, «Oh we had someone like you here too last year». «Oh, another moaner», I said«…who doesn’t like finding plastic in his food?». The serving staff were nice and polite, but I have never met such an offensive and ignorant manager/owner in my entire life.

Nice pub the best part of the pub is the tables out side in the front and also has a nice back garden, however the front tables are glorious, because facing the sun all the time. They also serve food but the food was nice but nothing to die for. Definitely i nice pub to spend a very lazy day during your holidays.
