Yikes… can’t say I can recommend this place. We stopped in for lunch after surveying the town for options. From the outside, it’s extremely promising-looking, and like most establishments in Ireland, the people are very friendly. However, the meals my wife and I received were far below average, quality-wise. She ordered a shepherd’s pie, which they said was made from scratch. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and bland. Meanwhile, the burger I ordered was burned on both sides; however, since it took so long, I tried to eat it, and ended up eating mostly salad and«garlic bread»(which is in quotes because I didn’t taste any garlic, just butter). Overall, a poor showing. I hope this was just an off-day, because it’s a nice space with very friendly people.

Excellent, family run, coffeeshop-cum-restaurant, with fast, friendly service.(Closes about 6 p.m. daily at time of this review.) Great breakfasts, extremely good value lunches, and a good selection of pastries and cakes to go with your morning coffee and afternoon tea. Almost everything is made on the premises and it is licensed for wine and beer.
