Afraid I have to remove a star from this place. When it gets very busy the queue management is terrible.

Ah the old reliable! Been coming here for years. Not the most appealing place but the fish and chips are nice. The cod is succulent with good flavour for a chipper and the chips are nice and crispy with lovely flavour. Handy place to pop In for a quick bite while nearby.

Best chipper in Dublin. Chips top notch and a great quarter pounder with cheese.

Just your average chipper really! Does all the things that all the other chippers in Dublin do and it doesn’t do them and better or any worse. its quite average! I often wonder if it has anything to do with Aprilles in town, is it the same people or is Aprille an Italian family who are really into making chips… and why is it always Italians that make chips anyway? its hardly Italian cuisine! For an average chipper it really has surfaced some burning questions!

Rumored to be owned by the same people as the Magic Chef next door, Aprile’s is Stillorgans premier chipper. The meal deals are good, but in my travels I’ve had better. Apriles also have a «real restaurant» upstairs, which is a sure mark of quality. Among chippers at least.
