Enjoyed my Christmas eve in this place, first of all Italian is my favorite reastaurant, second it’s a very private restaurant, there were only us and another family upstairs that evening, festive decorated and it felt very Christmassy on the night. I ordered me lasagne and it was delicious, wine was good too and certainly i had tiramisu for desert, you can’t leave Italian without eating tiramisu hehe Staff was very friendly and the bill was very very reasonable ! Definitely coming back !

Went for a meal here with the family. I will start off with the problems I had. I ordered pizza because I tried to order pasta which I will explain later. I order something called the rustic forager I think. A combination of spinach, goats cheese(or feta maybe), olives, mushrooms. The pizza arrived and was too soggy to pick up. Like I know pizza can be hard to pick up when it’s full of delicious toppings but this was a soggy mess. The spinach had a taste of tea which I have never experienced. Like how did they make it taste like tea. Salty flavours are what you go for with spinach. So I tried to eat it with my knife and fork around the discouraging spinach. The parts that where not soggy were good. The waiters here are a little hit and miss. I asked if they had tortellini he didn’t know what it was. Also it was very difficult to understand what the waiter was saying. English was a second language to him which I am totally sympathetic to but he made no effort to speak clearly. An Italian restaurant where the waiter doesn’t know food is a bad sign. The place looks really nice and modern but the other problems make me feel like it has more growing up to do. I wouldn’t be thrilled with going again to be honest.

Bank holiday lunch! Food was deliciously tasty! Roast chicken with pearl onion gravy, Cajun coleslaw highly recommended. All good!

Visited Cafe31 in Cabinteely for a family meal. The Restaurant was full to the brim so there was plenty of atmosphere. We were greeted and seated by a very pleasant waiter. The food was extremely tasty and all our party were very happy. The place itself is lovely and cosy. I would definitely recommend

The place looks fantastic, you walk in and it is warm and inviting, the menu looks appealing. How could we not go in, if only for a coffee?! …which is exactly what we did. The first staff member who seated us was great, didn’t bat an eyelid when we said we only wanted coffees. The staff member who actually served us was not anywhere so welcoming… To the point of insulting… And seemed very put out when i didn’t tip… Funny that. Wont be killing myself to go back which is a pity. Had they played their cards right(read correctly), there were 2 couples who would very likely have come back for full proper evening meals.
