I have been going to Baily’s Corner since i was just a little tot. It has moved from where it was when i was growing up, but it never lost it’s sense of intimacy. It is a hidden gem in the hub of Tralee town centre. It is primarily a pub, but during the day it does soup, sandwiches and a few main courses. The sandwiches are whopper. Made fresh everyday and will make you come back time and time again, especially the chicken tikka! Garry, the owner, is, without a doubt, one of the best hosts that I’ve ever seen in action. He never forgets a face, and although i only go to Tralee on holidays once or twice a year, he always remembers me! Not only is it a lovely place to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee during the day, at night it is a buzzing little spot, with live music at the weekends, it is always jointed with people! I would recommend anybody visiting Tralee to pop in, even if it is just for a coffee, you wont be sorry!
