The roast house derives their name from the in-house roasted coffee beans. We stopped by for Sunday Brunch specifically to have their traditional ‘Irish’ Breakfast and their coffee. And they did not disappoint. Traditional Irish Breakfast consists of white pudding, blood pudding, bangers, ham and eggs. Both puddings were the best I’ve had accompanied with a unique tomato-raisin jam. We ordered a coffee, cappuccino and a scone which were all excellent; the jam they served with the scone was especially delicious. Service and ambiance was good, definitely recommend dining here.

First, this is NOT a coffee and tea shop! It is a full service restaurant. We almost missed one of the best meals we had during our stay in Ireland because of the erroneous classification. Wonderful food, quiet and relaxing atmosphere, varied menu selections and wine list. The décor is subtle and sophisticated. The seating is comfortable. Don’t miss this one!

just back from lunch in the roast house. myself and my friend both had the quiche. chicken and spinach. food was amazing. thoroughly enjoyed it. lovely place. was busy for lunch when we went in. only two very small issues that wouldn’t put me off the place. i asked for a large glass of house white with my lunch and heard the table beside me order the exact same a few minutes later. their large house white was a lot larger than my large house white. lol also the entire time we were in the restaurant no one checked on us. we waited ten minutes and had to call someone over to order our food, then after we had finished had to wait a few minutes and flag someone down again to order some dessert. as i said though, fantastic place and i’m sure it was just a busy day. staff we spoke to were fantastic and the meal and dessert were amazing.
