If its a relaxing holiday you want, this is a great place to go. By relaxing I mean no site seeing, just lounging about, going to the beach, swimming in the pool, eating the delicious food, taking part in some of the organised games, really you don’t have to leave the hotel. It the weather is good, this place really is great. If you want to go somewhere different and exciting, don’t go to Kellys, if you need a break and want pure relaxation, this is the place to come. If I had the time and money, Kellys is the holiday I would take to recover from the previous holiday.

I have been to Kelly’s every year for over 20 years(can’t be too specific as I can’t be telling you all my age now! ;)) Kelly’s is like a second family. For years I have been going the same week every year and all our friends come back too, so its like one giant reunion. People who come for the first time are instantly welcomed and get to know everyone in the activities that you can join in such as table tennis competitions, horse shoe throwing, croquet, table quizes, bowles etc. And that is just for the adults, there are also loads of teens competitions(including water volleyball) and children’s competitions too! The staff at Kelly’s are absolutely amazing. They are so helpful with everything. They are even great for those out there with food allergies, just let them know the first night and they will mark up your menu every day(and even make special meals for you) to cater for your allergies. For those of you who just want to relax, the Spa is really lovely. And don’t get me started on the amount of food you end up eating, its all just so good! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice family break or a relaxing Irish holiday. You certainly won’t be disappointed!

By the beach. Amazing food. Lovely staff. Great rooms. Kelly’s in Rosslare has been one of the most popular hotels in Ireland for a long time for all of these reasons. It’s a great family hotel with a kids club and plenty of entertainment to keep them busy. But there’s lots for grown-ups too. They have a fabulous new spa which has every treatment you could imagine. Did I mention it’s by the beach?! I love being by the sea. It’s also a treat to sit out in the hot tub and watch the waves crash on the beach below. The best part though is the food. Be warned, it might be too much for some people. There’s breakfast, then there’s a gorgeous buffet lunch(or you can have lunch in the dining room), there’s afternoon tea and then of course there’s dinner. The food is fabulous, local and great Irish dishes. There’s also La Marine bar and restaurant if you want something a little less formal. Kelly’s has all of the attributes of an old fashioned hotel experience in a beautifully modern, cosy hotel.

Kellys hotel is like a piece of heaven! It is the best hotel I have stayed in Ireland and its no wonder that it has won so many awards. Walk in the door and all the awards are teaming all over the walls, year after year. There is so much to do in this hotel i dont know where to start! The rooms are lovely, all ensuite and well maintained. Some rooms have balconies and some have sea views which can be asked for on request. What a view there is too. Its overlooking its own private white sand beach! The food is the main highlight of the trip. It starts at breakfast which is a 3 or 4 course delight. Then lunch is like a full dinner, three courses of fabulous food. Then there is afternoon tea of tea and cakes in the afternoon. Followed by dinner at 7.30 in the dining room. The food is exquisite and the staff are top quality 5 star service. There is nightly entertainment in the ballroom every night which would be suited to an older age. There are different bars and another restauant to choose from. The amenities are endless. They have pitch and putt, golf, a full leisure centre with different swimming pools, hot tub, hairdressers, beauty salon, gift shop… I could go on. There is also a huge car park directly across the road. They have different rooms where someone can go an read or sit quietly. Also a games room and tv room. 24 reception and room service on request. There is also a bus that can collect you straight off the train on request. They really have thought of everything. I would rate this hotel as 100 out of 5 if I had the option A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
