Some of the freshest gelato I had during my time in Italia. Food: Ordered Fragola(strawberry) and Limone(lemon). Such a good combination, good balance of sweet/tart. What stood out the most was how insanely fresh both tasted, as if they had picked the produce from a garden and then made the gelato right before serving it. I will add that everything is made fresh in house. I ended up ordering again. this time chocolate/dairy gelatos, the flavors were rich and decadent! Service: Although the employees(maybe owners) could barely communicate with us, they were very warm, friendly and helpful. Ambiance: Very mom/pop-like compared to other gelaterias. They didn’t offer samples, but were good at describing the flavors or at least attempting to. I sat at this place for about 2 hours and ended up ordering twice. Price: 2.5 € for about a cup of gelato. Overall: Delicious, fresh and fast service!

When you visit Capri Lemoncello is a must try. Every other shop on the island seems to be selling it. Gelato al Limone, however, was the first shop we found with Lemoncello gelato. Not to be confused w/just plain lemon or ‘scorza di limone’(which is made from the lemon peel) we’re talking gelato made with the divine lemoncello drink. You’ve got to order up the Lemoncello, it has a spectacular kick to it. Despite that kick– this spot isn’t getting as high of a rating as some of the other gelato joints we tried on our trip… the gal behind the counter was less than friendly and I found that the other flavors lacked in comparison to gelato spots elsewhere on the island.
