Do not go here! We hopped in to get a drink and to escape the pouring rain, and it was the biggest mistake we made– we should have kept walking. The server was rude and the food was very subpar and overpriced. We tried to order pizza but the pizza kitchen was closed. Then He overcharged us for our wine and an appetizer because we didn’t order dinner(at 4pm.), and gave us an attitude the entire time. I repeat, DONOTGOHERE! There are too many other amazing restaurants in the city to waste your time and a meal on this one. I feel disgusted and embarrassed for this place, and am so upset that my last taste of food and wine in Florence was wasted here.

The pizza was incredible and the inside of the restaurant was completely gorgeous. If we have time before we leave we want to go back and have dinner on their indoor/outdoor patio. Waitstaff were friendly and even accommodated us as we tried out some of our really bad Italian.

It was ok. The pasta was standard. Depending on if you get a glass cup or not you have to pay for the cup which wasn’t greatly appreciated. All in all it was a quick meal that satisfied my hunger.

Very good dinner. Recommended to us by someone who’s been here many times. Frequented by locals but very accessible to travelers. Extremely friendly and incredibly attentive staff, solidly good food, and wonderful wine list. The lamb chops were perfect and the farro soup was quite tasty. The rabbit was good but skimpy on rabbit and heavy on spinach stuffing. Very pleasant staff. Would definitely eat here again.

Been here several times over the years … consistently delicious food at a reasonable price. I had the Six Cheese(Sei Formaggi) Pizza … thin crust, lots of garlic and olive oil without being soggy, cooked to perfection. The only way to improve on it is to order two of them! Located just a few blocks from the Florence Train Station.

Came here during Easter 2015. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, my husband ordered a rabbit entrée. The food came out too fast, as if it had been previously made and not fresh. The fettuccine Alfredo was terrible, as if it came out of a can. I could not even finish it. But the«icing» on the cake, what motivated me to write this bad review was the very ill-mannered, rude, bully waitress. I ordered the cappuccino with extra hot milk on the side because when I ordered the lighter café latte elsewhere it typically had too much milk and we all know the cappuccino is darker than the latte. I comprehend some Italian and could understand our waitress Elysa when she decided to make my «unusual» request for extra hot milk the topic of her mockery. From a short distance I could see her pointing at me and laughing as she tells her co-workers about me and my extra«latte caldo» Then she takes her very inappropriate behavior even further and comes closer(within a couple of feet) to my table and as she covers her face with the menu she starts to laugh and tell her«latte caldo… cappuccino» story to her boss right in front of me!!! She forgot that while she covered her face with the menu, it wasn’t sound proof. What a bully! If you’re going to open an establishment in a tourist area you should employ people who have basic courtesy. I didn’t spend thousands of my hard earned money planning and paying for an Italy vacation to have some waitress laugh at me for simply ordering extra hot milk on the side. I wonder if that’s typical waiter behavior in this establishment but no reviews have mentioned rude waiters simply because lots of tourists don’t understand Italian.

Quick service, friendly staff, but pizza with burnt blackened crust and paper thin wet center. In Italy. The pasta was just ok. Don’t waste your money here!

My sister studied abroad in Florence and took our family here when we went to visit. They seated us at a great table in the corner with a long bench and colorful pillows-we definitely had the best seat in the house! We started with various appetizers including bruschetta and focaccia bread, both of which were consumed immediately. My sister highly recommended the fettucine bolognese, so that’s what I ordered. She was spot on-it was the best I’d ever had. Fun night, friendly staff, warm atmosphere, good food!

Meh, fairly overrated. Credit where credit’s due: for a busy restaurant the food came quickly, was piping hot, and the house chianti was good. However the mushroom pizza was overly soggy and the seafood risotto contained not enough seafood and too much water. The prawns were also overcooked for my liking. I wouldn’t not eat here again but I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again

Very good place with very good dinner. The Kids had the six cheese pizza, and my wife and I had the Gnocchi w/Gorgonzola and the Fettuccini with the cream of black truffle. The Gnocchi was good, but not as good as my wife’s fettuccini, amazing!!! We both ordered second courses. The wife’s chicken breast grilled was good, but my fried chicken breast, Tuscan style was out of this world. The house wine was good and the price was great. I would come here again.

Very good pizza and fair prices. A decent wine selection as well. I got the prosciutto pizza, my wife got the salsiccia and funghi. The place is nice and dark, a bit romantic for travelers as opposed to some trattorias or pizzerias harsh lighting. Décor is old world and lots of brick, pretty and atmospheric.

Stumbled across this place for an early lunch because we were going on an afternoon tour and needed a place in the area. The good: Magherita pizza wasn’t bad, but it was definitely a little oily/soggy. However the cheese and the crust were good, and it was only 5 euros. The bad: Caesar was subpar, and the chicken wasn’t tender and was served cold. Also there’s a $ 1.50 cover charge per person, which sucks. Also there’s no tap water, so you need to pay $ 1.50 for a tiny bottle of water. Doubt I’ll be coming here again, but you could do worse. At least it wasn’t expensive.

My husband and I were here twice in four days for dinner, because it was so good the first time. I had goulash and he had spaghetti with seafood. It was plenty of seafood and very tasty! I agree the service is not what we are used to in the US, but I didn’t find them snooty. I didn’t try the pizza, so I can’t speak to that.

I’m not sure if there’s been a change to the restaurant since the last review or not, but my experience here was wonderful. I’ve tried 6 dishes: bolognese– incredible. Meat was very flavorful and really complimented the pasta. alfredo – very creamy. Pretty good. Spaghetti with tomato sauce – A bit too light for me. Too much taste of the pasta instead of a combo of pasta and sauce Gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce – Very well cooked gnocchi. Sauce was great. Lasagne – I’m not a fan. Tasted like it had nutmeg or something, but my friends liked it. Ravioli with Red Sauce – Ravioli were great and the sauce was a solid complement to it. Great place. Also, the prices were very good. 6 – 8 euro for a pasta dish and 10 euro for the cheapest bottle of red wine(which was still pretty good). Ended up being about 14 euro per person.

When I was living it Italy I used to take guests here all the time. The décor inside is amazing and unique, and the food is so good for the price. I’ve been here probably 5 times and never did it disappoint. I didn’t try the pizza which it got a bad rating for but the other dishes, eggplant parm, gnocchi etc. are fantastic.

At first, the positiv part of this restaurant — the interior: The restaurant is much bigger as it seems at the first glance. This is caused by the very small entry at the front from where you can see the rooms only partial. The bigger part of the restaurant is located in the back of the building. The interior emits a very blitheful atmosphere — there are intensive, funny and graffiti like colors all over the walls. The decoration swings between art and trash but is funny too. Unfortunatelly this restaurant has one big flaw, it’s staff(and the boss) is extremely unfriendly and not customer oriented(but profit oriented). We were 6 people visiting this restaurant but only 4 of us want to eat something, the others just want to have some drinks. And this was reason enough for the boss to ask us to leave. If you prefer a more service oriented restaurant, just do 20 more steps and visit the«Trattoria Enzo & Piero»(this is, where we were welcome warmly after this frustrating disappointment)(see: ) Finally: 3 points for the stylish, crazy, funny, cozy interior 2 pints for the most stylish toilet I visited at my florence trip –5 points for kicking us out (1 Point since Qype request at least one)
