It’s like, when you’re in Italy, there is always an excuse to have something to drink, whether it’s coffee or wine, and whether the occasion is a temporary escape from the busy city life or just a place for a still breakfast. After several trips to Florence, I’ve often found myself here in search of fulfilling this need. Though the location of Été Bistrò is quite central, the café is located in a relaxed, but lively, street. The little, narrow café is lovely furnished with retro interior and plants, and the menu is a lovely combination of good organic food and beverages(especially the coffee is really well-made). The atmosphere is always great and the two ladies, who owns the place, are always kind, smiling and hospitable. After having returned to this place on my three trips to Florence(within two years), I’ve been recognized every time. To me, this shows that these two women are seriously passionated about this little unique pearl. And they do an incredible good job.

I left my heart in this natural bistro in via Faenza! I didn’t eat, I found there are by chance along with Viola and another girl looking for a bathroom and something to drink, but I immediately fell in love with this lovely place. Welcomes you from the street with tables and chairs in colored wood, inside a smell of food that already opens the stomach(and we’re coming from an American brunch, so it was pretty impossible). Hyper cozy furnishings, and the feeling that everything is natural and delicious. One eye on the menu, and then you realize that the prices(from coffee to cocktails) are very low. Open till evening. So try it! I’ll definitely come back!

This bistro is a real find, especially in an area that I normally never venture to for lunch. A small-hippy like bistro on the busy and bustling via faenza, I love the simple and inviting style of the place. Everything is organic and fresh, don’t expect any heavy meals here but more a light summer menu and some pretty fabulous tagliere. Wine was organic as well, and they have an exciting array of cocktails, even my favorite moscow mule and ginger beer. We got a few different items, namely the tagliere, a fresh tomato eggplant parmigiana, a huge salad, portions were enormous which means I highly recommend sharing a few dishes before ordering too much. This is the perfect place to lunch if you have to be at the central train station or if you are just looking for a cool lunch spot where you can do some pretty decent people watching. Prices are also very very good, I will absolutely be coming here more often!
