We stopped in here for lunch, what a nice lunch. We both had a starter and main dish. All the food was very fresh, and perfectly prepared. I started with the radicchio pasta, had a delicious creamy sauce, my second course was the roasted chicken and potatoes, was so delicious, made like I make. My husband had the red based pasta, it was excellent, and than chicken fillets over veggies. The lunch was really good. We picked a half liter of their house white, not a good choice, was too sprity. A red wine would have been better. The neighboring table had a pizza and calzone, both looked so good, we will try to get back there this week for the pizza. Nice atmosphere, on a cute square, friendly service, reasonably priced, and really tasty food.

This was such a disappointment for our first night in Florence. Service was abrupt and inattentive. The waiter told us all the things he didn’t have. The food was even worse. Flavorless bread, canned olives and canned artichokes on the pizza and obviously dried pasta. This is a tourist trap for sure and one that should be avoided at all costs. After 4 very special days of great food in Rome, this was a clunker to start off our visit to what should still be a delicious culinary adventure in Florence.

One of the best meals I had in Florence was from this little ristorante! With few servers, the service was sometimes slow, but definitely worth the wait. We would always start with the Prosciutto Crudo Coccoli e Stracchino which was one of the best I tasted in Florence. For the main course I would order the Pici pasta, which was served with a spicy, garlic, red sauce. To die for! In fact, it was so good that it was our last meal before going back to the states.

Service was very good. Had the Melon e prosciutto, ravioli with pear, pennette with asparagus/truffle/blue cheese and all was very delicious! Over all very good experience.

I don’t agree with the negative reviews. I studied abroad for a semester in Florence and we went here often for the cheap pizza and house wine. Service can be slow, but the food usually came out very quickly once we ordered, and they were always able to accommodate us, even in large groups, without a reservation. The truffle pasta was my favorite item on the menu!

We stumbled on this restaurant after deciding not to eat at a place a friend had recommended to us. We enjoyed an excellent plate of spaghetti with pesto and calamari, and an order of the pear and pecorino ravioli. Both dishes were very good, and we washed them down with a refreshing carafe of vino della casa bianco(white house wine). We’d visit here again, although not if we were in a hurry. The service was slow, but that’s what Italy’s all about, right? We used the time to relax, people watch and sip on some vino.

Weekday lunch for two. The menu prices are cheap which attracted us over. I ordered some pasta stuffed with filling with bolognese, and my partner some standard pizza-fare. My meal was strong and tasty, but the portions are too small. His pizza is… not memorable. Sufficient size, but not greatly impressed. The food service is fast, but the payment service for us was slow. The lady went out to buy fruit… :|

A classic tourists’ trap. The service is so bad that I didn’t get a «thank you» even on check out. The worse pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The only decent dish was the«Baccala alla Livornese». The house wine is awful. Stay away from this place. With so many other good options in Florence it will not be hard.
