Very cute, local spot to grab a glass or two of wine! You sit inside the wine store, surrounded by bottles of wine, and it feels very local. Would recommend!

We were hoping to find a shop to taste and buy wine, and we stumbled upon this one. We had two tastings for € 15 each, and then met a wonderful customer who was a wine connoisseur. He and the woman employee of the shop helped advise us on what to choose. We selected 12 bottles and shipped them to the US for a shipping cost of € 115. As of today, the cost to ship 3 bottles is € 60, 6 bottles € 75. We figured why not — we’re in Florence. We won’t regret it. It’s a beautiful shop and it was a great experience. The customer who chatted with us goes there every year, so he loves it as well.

Back again, a glass each of good Chianti and a Nobile. 10 euros. Last time we had the sampler of meat, cheese bread and wine. Still offering that too. Off the tourist track, across the Ponte Vecchio take a right. Worth the stop and the wine!

This was my favorite wine store in all of Florence… Mainly because of the large selection. They had wines & varietals that no one else had. Plus… you can have wine & cheese pairings, etc here. Great place! I thought the service was extremely friendly — — so apparently I had a different experience than others. But they had my favorite Brachetto d’Acqui and the largest Piemonte selection available, plus they ship to the States! Highly, highly recommend this Oltrarno gem!
