Our first night in Florence started with wonderful food, wine and friends on recommendation of our Hotel Executive staff. The service was great. The walls were filled with pictures of famous people who visited there from the past and old wine bottles from previous years. The atmosphere was wonderful. The wood was excellently prepared. The staff was wonderful and attended to our every need. We highly recommend this restaurant for an affordable and delicious meal.

Les plats sont très bons, en revanche en Italie on a pas forcément envie de manger dans une salle a 99,9% japonaise (ma femme est japonaise également du coup j’étais le seul italien). C’est très touristique les prix sont donc assez élevés pour une trattoria et pour des quantités faibles (70 € pour 2 plats de pâtes enfin c’était plutôt des entrées et 3 petites boulettes de veau je pense que c’est excessif).

It’s a bit pricey. Went there for dinner due to convenience to our apartment. Not sure why this is such a draw for the Japanese tourists. The food is good but 3 dollar cover is a bit steep for stale bread and no offer of olive oil. Would not go back

We happened to eat at Armando’s by chance and we were super happy.
We had the wild boar (cinghiale) pappardelle, the trippa and the peposo di manzo. Everything was really really good. Our favorite was the pappardelle! Really amazing!
Also, the service was excellent and down to earth — no formalities but great attention.
