During the weekend with very good friends we decided to pass by this small restaurant to have a dinner. Place seemed very busy and as we didnt have a reservation they couldn’t accommodate us. We decided to book for dinner on the next night. Restaurant has a feeling of a house atmosphere. The tables are very close to each other and the waiters are really informal. Restaurant has also pretty funky decorations, like a lot of vintage stuff from 50 — 60. The menu card is quite small and limited, but it also makes a selection pretty easy. With 4 of us we decided to go for starter and a main course. 2 of us had black ink squid pasta with vongole with a hint of lemon and the guys had panzerotti with cheese and vegetables. The pasta was delicious, full of flavor. It was a good first course portion — just enough. For the main we ordered black grilled octopus with some salad on the side and grilled vegetable. Our meat eater went with tagliata di manzo. The octopus was delicious, cooked perfectly, I just wished I got a little bit more potatoes with this, as I saw that other plates had a few of those and there was only 1 potato on my plate. We ordered 2 bottles of house red wine — it was delicious. We paid 35 a person for 2 courses with abundance of wine, coffee and water. Maybe a bit on the higher side, but the food was delicious. The only thing that could be improved is the service. The ladies are very friendly and nice, but you get an idea like they run around like a chicken without head and sometimes forget about bringing drinks, etc.
