Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience. We arrived early in the evening, ready to enjoy a night out with great Milanese cooking. We soon enough realized this was not the best choice.
Already when we were seated we noticed several fruit flies all around. I can’t remember seeing fruit flies in a restaurant before, and there were quite a few. Oh well, we had heard good things about Dal Bolognese and decides to ignore this.
To our dismay, the very reason for dining there, the food, was hardly enough to make us feel any better. One person in my party got cold food, and my cutlet was something I would expect to be served at a roadside diner. It was in no way inedible, but the price and the seeming quality of the restaurant was far apart from the mediocre food. Too bad, as the staff were friendly and the locale was stylish and classic.
