This is a small place near the Duomo and it’s a very traditional atmosphere and it was great for small snacks and a glass of wine in between meals. I like the tripe dish but the raviolis was just okay in my taste.

Lovely warm atmosphere, a nice balance of casual and hip. Food was delicious and campari spritzer was wonderful. Service, however, was absolutely terrible. Brusque, late with food, bordering on rude. Too bad, because this charming restaurant has everything else going for it.

Found this place via Unilocal. This place is a bit small but the service is great and the food was amazing. They have an English menu for those that need it. We ordered buffalo di mozzarella and polenta with gorgonzola. Both were fresh and delicious. Polenta was cooked to the crisp and the Gorgonzola added a slight sour taste to it. For main– they have 3 options of a variety of raviolis. We picked that but can’t remember the name. You get a ravioli stuffed with ricotta and Swiss chard, another with same stuffing with pesto sauce and a pumpkin stuffing. All were great. You can tell ravioli is handmade. They serve wine in a bowl and I loved that. You must try the Lambrusco!!!

Very nice place, typically Italian, it’s my second time here, and for a good reason! Plenty of pork meat and nice cheeses… Plus many other nice dishes! Well love it!

We visited Italy back in November and had two wonderful meals at this restaurant; once at the beginning of our trip and once at the end. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. The wine is delectable. The sauces are truly mouth-watering and delicious. I loved this place. We were so taken by it after our first meal that when we returned to Milan before our flight home we were absolutely determined to find it, even though we hadn’t written down the name. We walked around for over an hour trying to find it to no avail. Luckily, we stopped in the Ferrari store just down the street from the duomo, where I asked the ladies working if they recognized the name«salsa…something parma. Really close to here.» They talked amongst the other employees, did some detective work and found the name and address. It was a fabulous last meal. My pumpkin ravioli was amazing. My boyfriend had thin cuts of beef with a hot mustard sauce. Everything was excellent. If I ever get a chance to return here, I most definitely will!

The shop manager was super friendly, passionate about his food, and helpful in explaining the history of the food. The food itself is simple, hardy, and high quality. I recommend the prosciutto which is world famous. The pasta was average, very greasy but tasty — get the ravioli stuffed with prosciutto Stick to the buffalo mozzarella and Burrata and you won’t be disappointed!

Outstanding! Salsamenteria di Parma, on S. Pietro all Orta. Thank You, Unilocal, what a find! We ordered two salads, Insalta Buffalina(green salad, carrots, cherry tomatoes and buffalo milk mozzarella /€ 9.50), and Insalta Mista(green salad, carrots and cherry tomatoes /€ 5). The salads were larger than I expected, the mixed greens were fresh, and the tomatoes were to die for. Each salad could have been a meal by itself. We followed this with an IL Trionfo(€ 18), which is a medium platter of ten different salumi cuts. Delicious! The restaurant was attractive, clean, organized and well lighted. [Then again, if you do not delight in a décor that focuses on preserved animal flesh, you may not find it as charming as I did. It is carnivore heaven!]. The staff were friendly, and accommodating. We will be returning tomorrow! Five Stars.

The place is quiet and familiar… perfect for a soft dinner, even if we were two hungry man and had quite to many courses! Worth the price we spend(35 €/each) with just a «glass»(I should actually say a bowl) of wine. No coffee, don’t even bother asking… they don’t make it. Parma ham and cheeses are the main courses… go for that and give a trial to the first courses!

stumbled upon this place after a search for a place for dinner, nearly everything was closed in Milan. I had the trippa alla bussatana. It was delicious! Full of flavor and the tripe had a good texture. Service is a bit slow but the servers try to be attentive. My friend ordered coffee and I tasted some of the biscotti, it was divine, softest and best biscotti I’ve ever had. Great branding this place has.

We visited twice whilst in Milan for Vacation. Both times the food and drink were delicious. The staff were spot on and friendly. It does fill up quickly at lunch time — so be prompt! It’s popular with locals, office and shop workers, so you know it’s not going to fail you! The polenta frittters with gorgonzola and parma are a accompliment to share. They also offer some nice crusty bread and dips to dive into whilst waiting on your order — but you don’t have to wait for long! The meat platters range in sizes and prices but good value all round. I’m in love with the Burrata. The chocolate pears were divine but messy! The panna cotta was also tasty.

I was famished. Wandering around Milan after visiting the Dumo. In an area full of overpriced tourist traps this is a gem and a real life saver for people that care about their food. The service is great, the food is delicious. If you are in the area, specially during lunch time — this is the place to eat. The last but not least the pricing is fair and it is great value for money which is the most important thing in this area of town.
