This restaurant was AMAZING! It is the best place we have eaten at during our time here in Europe! The staff were nice and efficient, the food was incredible and the owner was so friendly and made you feel like family! I would recommend anyone who is in Milan to head here for a meal. I wish we weren’t leaving tomorrow so we could come back again! The décor is gorgeous and they have jars full of candy to snack on while you’re waiting. We were given free samples, free drinks and ate more in one sitting than we have in a week! All of the courses being delicious! My words don’t do this amazing establishment justice so come check it out for yourself!

Looking for a good Italian restaurant which isn’t too pricy we found out about this awesome place!
Tuesday evening, 10 pm, and it was full of people!!! From this moment on we knew it would get amazing. Luckily we got a table .
I would suggest to make a reservation !
We had free bread, dried tomatoes in oil, free meatballs, insalata caprese and fried bread, homemade lasagne and homemade linguini with shrimps, 2 drinks!
All together we paid 48 Euro which was incredibly good ! The Food was high quality, the service was extremely good!
We can highly recommend this Italian restaurant. !

Great service! The «limoncello» at the end of the meal not only was unexpected but it was delicious. Great food and ambience. If I would’ve more time would eat here again.

Comfy place and very good food. One of the best Ossobuco I’ve ever had. Prices are affordable and waiters very kind. It’s an authentic local Italian restaurant. I do recommend!

They are really nice and have a delicious menu, the food was really good. And after our diner the offered us some sweets — for free. Really kind.

If I could give this place 6*‘s I would. I would say make reservations if you are able to, especially on Saturdays, they do accept walk-​ins and are worth the wait. Parking is scarce in the area, so take a taxi, grab an über, or walk if you have to, but eat here! The service. Quick and friendly, the food is AMAZING, and the place is clean and has a homey atmosphere. Had the asparagus and shrimp soup, my new ATF, and the barbecue ribeye was to die for.
Big shout out to previous Unilocalers for giving this place a well deserved 4+ stars so I could come find it.

What a great restaurant and crew! coming from a day at EXpo2015 and shopping in Milan we just wanted to find a casual place for dinner. … and we found exeptional food (the osso buco was surely world class!) a cosy and nicely designed interior, and a warm welcome starting with the reservation call through to the lemoncello featuring many authentic and original details.

The food and the service was exceptional. If miss this. Place you lose. We have been Unilocaling. Our way through Italy. It has been spot on. We are going back tomorrow

First night in Italy and we saw the reviews for this restaurant. They were so very accurate. Delicious meal with Awesome service. The staff speaks English and the menu has English as well. I recommend a small bottle of wine if you’re a couple otherwise you leave it there without finishing it. The candy treats are a cute touch too!

This was by far the most fun we had at dinner our entire trip… oh and did I mention the food was great. turned out staying in the Certosa neighborhood may have had the disadvantage of distance from downtown and Milano Centrale the food choices were outstanding. This fine local eatery was packed with regulars/​locals. We didnt have a reservation but they seated us right away. The décor is vintage classy, we actually thought we might be under attired but we were fine. Having walked for 11 hours thru the Milan World EXPO we had definitely worked up an appitite and this place did not let us down. Immediately upon sitting we were served a bowl of sundried tomates, rehydrated not dry and tough, a big basket of bread and a bowl of Meatballs in sauce… Complimenti. Unreal. We made that disappear quick and ordered a bottle of the house red and a bottle of sparkling water. We started with the antipasti which of course had Prosciutto, Buffalo Mozzarella, Salami and various Vegs. For dinner I had the Osso buco with saffron risotto, incredible. My nephew had the veal Milanese. Huge portions of delicious food.
when our meal was finished they brought us a bottle of house made Limoncello, again complimenti. Then they gave us large bottles of candies to sample.
The staff here is the best. When we were done I had to tell them how special the meal was and how we appreciated the service. We were immediately surrounded by staff giving us more drinks and one of the wait staff’ mother’s homemade liquor to sample. What a great last night in Italia.

Take this with a grain of salt in that this is the first restaurant that my girlfriend and I ate at in Milan, but this was the best lasagna we’ve ever had. Anywhere. Everything we had there was great: the antipasto appetizer, the homemade spaghetti, the chocolate soufflé, the complimentary Prosecco, complimentary candy and peanuts, the cappuccino, and the wine. My girlfriend said, «we should come back here for lunch tomorrow». Would highly recommend this place to my friends.

I am not surprised by the raving reviews by my fellow Unilocalers. This restaurant makes you feel welcome like no other restaurant I went too in Italy. The service was excellent.
We made reservations and strolled on ease to this restaurant since it was a few blocks away from Radisson Blu Hotel where we were staying at.
We were seated right away and brought over Prosecco and then some fresh bread with olive oil and drenched hot peppers which gave the olive oil more flavor. We were also served their soup of the night which was on the house. It was a pumpkin based soup and was very hearty and flavorful. I wanted to keep my appetite for the food so I only took a bite or two.
I ordered the Veal Milanese and my friend ordered the steak. Both portions were huge which is highly unlikely for Italian restaurants. Alongside both entrees was rocket salad and potatoes. You can also sub in pasta if you want to customize your entrée which I found to be really accommodating (again, Italian restaurants are very particular so customizing was a nice change from the norm). We were so full by the end of our meal that we did not wanted to order dessert and for good reason also because they bring you nectarines, peanuts, all kinds of colorful candy in jars and plenty of Limencello.
We were not rushed and spent quite some time taking in the festive ambiance (it was a full house) and talking. If you need to have a last meal before flying out of Milan, definitely go here. You will leave boozy, happy and with filled tummies.
Also, my friend wanted to buy a bottle of wine for her family and the manager spent quite some time going over all the wines they had available and helped her choose the best wine to take back. It was expensive and of coarse not recommended to buy wines from a restaurant but since she was on a time constraint, she was happy to pay the extra amount and get the best bottle to take back.

We are each year in Milan during fashion week and Mifur. This is place is a every time absolutely must to do.

I can recommend the carpaccio, the Black-​Angus Steak and the homemade tiramisu.
You get tomatoes and homemade meatballs as appetitive, a glass prosecco, limoncello and all lot of sweets for 3 € cupperto.

The ravioli cacciatore and pork & potatoes were incredible. Not sure what the air-​filled bread was, but it was amazing as well. If you are in this part of Milan, make it a point to get here… and the Limoncello… just a great way to wrap it all up!

Fantastic dining experience! Chose to go here since it was one of the higest rated Milan resraurants on Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Doubletree nearby and it was a quick walk to here. We were given Prosecco upon arrival. I couldn’t decide on which dish so they made me one with both, including pear raviolli. Great ambiance, friendly staff and a fantastic place to go!

I didn’t really love what I had, but maybe the other dishes were better. The service however was great, and they serve fruit they grew in their garden! So for that they get an extra star. Plus the waitress was so pretty I wanted to poke my eyes out so that she would have been the last sight I ever saw, but ultimately I had to drive back (maybe if I had taken the metro).

Sensationeller Laden!
Wir kamen Samstag Abend gegen 22h ohne Reservierung dort rein und es warteten schon andere Leute. Um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken, bekamen wir Wein angeboten, Wurst gereicht und Bruscetta hingestellt. Super Service. Die wartenden Gäste stehen quasi um die Bar herum. So kann man dem Kellner (Besitzer?) bei der Arbeit zusehen. Und daran hat es ihm nicht gemangelt. Der Laden war gerammelt voll und es war faszinierend wie die Kellnerinnen (alle hübsch anzuschauen und sehr freundlich) mit Speisen und Getränken durcheinander wuselten.
Nach ca. 40min bekamen wir einen Tisch zugewiesen, wo direkt Brot und eingelegte Tomaten eingedeckt wurden. Als Entschädigung für die Wartezeit reichte man uns noch Hackbällchen. Ich bestellte ein Sirloin Steak und meine Freundin den gegrillten Tunfisch. Beides war reichlich (siehe Fotos) und sehr gut. Anschliessend wurde uns ein Absacker, Kekse und Mandarinen offeriert. Als uns dann auch noch eine gratis Nachspeise angeboten wurde, mussten wir passen. Insgesamt war der Abend für 2 Personen mit 48EUR (ohne Trinkgeld) mehr als akzeptabel. Wir können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen, jedoch sollte man wenn möglich vorher reservieren.

Absolutely out of this world. Completely unexpected. Unique. Neighborhood restaurant. Fun. Fabulous food. Great staff. Made us feel as though we had been eating there for years. If you are anywhere near here… mangiare.

GUTES ESSEN, 100% UMSORGT, TOLLE BEDIENUNG, GELD DAS GUT INVESTIERT IST (was ich sonst nicht so oft sagen würde, deswegen auch meine erste Bewertung hier auf qype!
Ich denke das war für mich und meine Freundnin eine der schönesten Momente in Mailand. Sehr nette Bedienung, hilft bei Wein– und Essenswahl. Man bekommt einen kleinen Drink und getrocknete Tomaten direkt aufn Tisch. 3 EUR Tischgebühr für zwei ist super. Insgesamt 100 EUR (9 EUR Trinkgeld, die einfach verdient waren für 2 3-​Gängemenüs siehe unten)!
Wein aus der Region (16 – 22 EUR die Flasche), wenn der nicht schmeckt, kann man den wahrscheinlich wirkich zurück gehen lassen.
Vorspeise Carpaccio und Nudeln (je 10 – 12 EUR) und Hauptgang mit Abstand das beste Steak, dass ich je gegessen habe. So zart aber geil gegrillt, trotzdem schön rosa. Ein Traum!!! 22 EUR glaube etwa Black Angus Premium Sirloin. Meine Freundin hat Angus in Barolosoße mit Maispolenta auch sehr gut. Als Dessert habe ich noch ein Schokosouffle gegessen, warm, flüssig, geil (5 EUR).
Das schöné war, dass dann frische Erdnüsse gebracht wurden, 4 verschiedene Töpfe mit Süßigkeiten (einzeln eingepackte Drops, Lakritz, Karamelkekse, Marshmallows.) und dann noch Mispeln (Früchte) gebracht wurden. MAN WURDE RUNDUM VERSORGT!
Wir waren nur vorher sehr hungrig, aber das Essen kam schnell! Nur ein Prosecco, eine Falsche Wein und dann eine FLASCHE Lemoncello mit zwei Gläsern (trinken aufs Haus), runden die Sache ab, da hat man dann einen im Tee (bzw. Espresso für 1,50 EUR). Highlight war auch, als wir dann tatsächlich noch nach einem Eis gefragt wurden (aufs Haus verständlicherweise!).

Aufgrund andere positiver Bewertungen wurden wir auf dieses Restaurant aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend, klein aber fein sozusagen. Die Kellnerin konnte Englisch und so klappte es auch mit der Bestellung. Meine Freundin bestellte Risotto Milanese und ich Spaghetti Carbonara. Die Wartezeit konnte man sich mit einem Apperitiv in Form eines Weissweins sowie Brot mit in Öl eingelegte getrocknete Tomaten überbrücken. Außerdem bekam man noch Hackbällchen serviert und man konnte sich am gedeckten Obst und Süssigkeiten bedienen. Fazit zum Essen. Es hat alles vorzüglich geschmeckt und auch die Preise waren ok. Dabei machte es auch nichts aus, dass 3 Euro für das Eindecken auf der Rechnung standen, denn einen Verdauer gabs auch noch gratis zum Abschluss. Ich kann dieses Restaurant also nur jeden empfehlen.

It was a suggestion of our hotel nearby and first we were a bit mistrustful.
But we found a lovely place in Milano where you can get a real show of italian kindness. We came as strangers and went away as friends.
The food is okay but all the stuff around is great and a pleasure.
Loveable service, candies on the table like a kids birthday decoration, cosy ambiente, amazing waitress a big surprise.
When we went back to the hotel we were really happy and in a good mood.

Da ich momentan mich in Mailand im etwas abgelegenen Hotel Radisson Blu Milan befinde hatte ich das Problem, abends etwas zu essen ohne in die Stadt fahren zu müssen, was doch eine knappe halbe Stunde dauert. Leider ist die Infrastruktur um dieses Hotel –so gut es auch ist– recht schwach und dementsprechend ist die Auswahl an adäquaten Restaurants recht gering.
Aufgrund diverser positiven Bewertungen habe ich mich für dieses Restaurant entschieden.
Was ich dort vorgefunden habe war wirklich gut. Als Alleinreisender war es kein Problem, mir einen schönen Tisch zuzuweisen. Der Tisch war liebevoll mit getrockneten Tomaten, Brot sowie diversen Leckereien von Haribo (kein Scherz!) gedeckt. War sehr nett! Das ganze Restaurant war mit Holz ausgekleidet und hat einen leicht «Bistro-Stil”-angehauchten Charakter.
Die Getränkebestellung war schnell aufgegeben (½l Hauswein weiss sowie ein ½l Mineralwasser). Ergebnis recht überraschend: ich sollte den Wein probieren (war okay für einen Hauswein) und dann wurde mir die Flasche am Tisch gelassen mit den Worten, ich solle mal einfach so viel trinken wie ich mag. Das Wasser wurde vergessen und nach Aufforderung nachgereicht. Unorthodox, aber vollkommen okay.
Als ersten Gang habe ich Wildravioli bestellt, die sehr lecker waren. Von dem WIld habe ich nichts herausgeschmeckt, aber dennoch war es sehr lecker.
Als Hauptspeise habe ich dann Steak an Steinpilzen geordert. Dazu gab es Kartoffeln geschwenkt sowie Salat. Alles sehr lecker.
Auf das Dessert habe ich verzichtet und stattdessen einen Espresso sowie einen Grappa bestellt. Wieder unorthodox: Ich habe eine ganze Flasche als Selfservice bekommen und zusätzlich kommentarlos eine Flasche Limoncello, den ich jedoch nicht getestet habe.
Alles wurde von 2 sehr bemühten Servicekräften serviert, die recht gut Englisch sprachen und auch auf die ungewöhnlichen Wünsche (3 Chinesen) der umliegenden Tische eingingen. Punkte gesammelt!
Der ganze Abend hat mich 40 EUR gekostet, die ich gerne für das Gebotene bezahlt habe. Ich denke, dass das durchaus in einem üblichen Preisrahmen ist.
Fazit: Im dortigen Kiez wohl die beste Alternative für anspruchsvolle Esser. Wer sparen will kann auch eine Super-​Pizza quer gegenüber essen: Lecker, charmant stilloses Ambiente und für ¹⁄₃ des Preises. Leider fehlt mir der Name und deswegen auch die Bewertung…
Tja, was fehlt für den 5. Stern? Etwas mehr Wild-​Geschmack beim ersten Gang und der Vergleich zum deutschen Preisniveau. Dennoch tolle Leistung und nur knapp am 5. Stern vorbei…
