I walked past this restaurant several times over the last week and thought it looked good. Good intuition — it was great. Very good attention to detail on terms of service, presentation, and food quality. Started with a cured ham with fresh fig. I’m a big fan of this pairing. The ham was thinly sliced and velvety… melt in your mouth — fantastic. I also had the lobster linguini with tomato sauce. The sauce had a nice sweetness to it without being too acidic. The meal started with complementary prosecco and finished with a chocolate fondue which included biscotti, candied nuts and fresh fruit including what I believe were cumquats. I thought the value was very good. The bill with gratuity was 99 euros. In terms of value, as long as you are not within walking distance of the Cathedral the prices are more reasonable than Chicago, LA, Miami — Ft. Lauderdale. This was a great dining experience. One of the better meals I’ve had in Milan.

I was here for a business lunch. I like their concept: everyone gets a glass of sparkling wine as a welcome drink, and a couple of free appetisers. Then you’re given the choice between 3 – 4 piatto unicos(that is a combined pasta-meat/fish dish, in the Italian system a primo plus a secondo on the same dish). Normally this is a heresy in Italy where the order of courses must be strictly respected, still, I believe that for a quick lunch break it may be ok and time efficient. The staff are very nice. I won’t give more stars just because I wasn’t sooooo impressed by the food, which is good but I think they could improve the quality and selection of the main ingredients to enhance flavour. A bit expensive
