I love this place, each time I come to Milan I make sure I visit it at least once during my stay.
So, this is a gastronomy, meaning you will can expect some art in the shape of food.
It is not a Michelin Restaurant, but food is really good and tasty, and cheap (as of today, 4.99Euro/portion).
You enter and the big bar full of food is in front of you, take your time looking at the food they propose that day (it changes every day) and maybe ask what they advise you to try. You can either eat there or take away. You can also call and get it delivered it if you wish.
My last visit saw me eating: pizzoccheri, spaghettoni all’arrabbiata, lasagna with cime di rapa, pomodorini and pesto and tiramisu. My gosh, this was like heaven!
I also brought home some trippa and melanzane alla parmigiana, just because I could not say no.
Seriously, this place must be known if you plan to visit Milan or if you live there.
Can’t wait to come back, I mean it.
