You will not find a more enjoyable, hospitable restaurant/business in any country. Salvo and the staff do everything in their power to make your visit a wonderful experience. The place is small, but the portions are huge and delicious. I can not give a higher recommendation and this is my go to place to bring visiting friends and family. The best part of coming to the Spaghetti House is how kid friendly they are and how much they dote on the little ones. I know that this is a cultural thing too, but i find it welcoming and homey. Do yourself a favor and come on down. Bring and appetite and some patience to find some parking. well worth the trip!

DONOTGOHERE. This is the only restaurant in all of Italy that has ever made me sick. The food does not taste good, either. Please do yourself a favor and go up the street to Donna Fortunata or to ANYPLACEELSE in town.

Best food ever! Food is excellent, service is amazing! Very kid friendly and they treat you like family. They remember what you like, your name, and you feel at home! Food is tasty, generous potions, and complimentary lemon cellos when done. Will not disappoint!

Amazing service. Great atmosphere for groups. Brought 20 people and had a great time. We’ve eaten here three out of the four last days of our trip. Made our visit worthwhile.

Definitely my favorite place that I have experienced out here. Tonight was my second time visiting, and just like the first time, Salvo and his staff made the experience very welcoming, and the friendly service makes you feel as if you are home. We ordered the family style meal, and boy was that a lot of good food. The appetizers by themselves were enough to fill you up and well worth it. The main courses of pasta and chicken were amazing also, although I was unable to finish them due to the amazing appetizers. The home-made tiramisu was a perfect way to finish the meal. After the meal, we tried some of the lemon-fire shots!(I’m not sure what they’re called, but they will know what you’re talking about). A-MAZING. They also sell hand carved statues that are unique and great for souvenirs and gifts. Definitely a must try! Thanks again Salvo!

Spaghetti House is a special place. Salvo and his staff treat you as a social guest each and every time. The food is fresh and vibrant, the house wine is a local variety and is delicious and the atmosphere is upbeat and energetic. But what sets Spaghetti House apart from other restaurants is the hospitality and friendliness of Salvo and his staff. We walked into Spaghetti House simply looking for a good meal but left with a memorable experience that I recommend fully.

Of course I loved it! I went with a group of four, I ordered the mixed seafood grill and seafood pasta(everything tasted very fresh and the seasoning was near perfect). One of my friends ordered the four cheese rigatoni, he was also pleased by his dish. I will definitely have to come back soon; the owner gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine to take home and a post dinner shot of limoncello. The staff is very friendly and there’s no language barrier. Put this place on your bucket list!

Go eat here. I cannot even begin to explain how delicious the food was. My brother is stationed at Sigonella and we went to visit. He raved about Spaghetti House and the owners and how friendly everyone was. We almost had our hopes dashed afraid it wasn’t open. It was. We showed up in the rain, baby in tow and proceeded to chow down for about 2 and a half hours. I had the shrimp appetizer, he brought me 5 because I said I loved shrimp. I ate 3… I know horrible. We had pineapple and prosciutto, arugula salad and prosciutto, bruschetta, and we’re thinking there was something else. There was so much food! The pasta was divine. We were all feeling like gluttons but I don’t go to Italy often! Of course there was limoncello. We were so stuffed, it felt like Thanksgiving as a kid. Now here’s the thing you have to park up a hill and walk down to the restaurant. This would have been fine had I not worn heels. Other than that the trip up and down the hill in the rain was worth every second of it. We ran into a family coming out as we were going in and they looked worse for wear, all doing the stuffed walk of shame. The spaghetti house is definitely one of my all time favorites. We are watching ticket prices and we might just pop back over there to spend a weekend at my brother’s. How could I forget this? They gave us a bottle of Strawberry Champagne, that we still haven’t opened. The BEST!

5 Stars from my American Side which is the side I will rate it from. since the main guest here are from the U.S. The hardest part of going to a different country to me is the language barrier and trying to understand the culture of a country. This restaurant is definitely made for Americans and all the employees there speak and understand English and they make you feel at home which is a plus. If you aren’t familiar with Sicily, Spaghetti House should be one of your first stops if you are around the Motta Area! Its a great restaurant that transitions you slowly into the Sicilian world without feeling awkward. I say slowly transitions you because once you go into another place, you will still feel out of place but at least you have an idea of what to expect. Order the Family Dinner if you have a group of 3 or more, definitely worth it for 20 Euro’s. And also go there on an empty stomach or you won’t be able to finish your food. One tradition I learned here: Always finish your food!

Great food, when I was there we ordered the family style dinner. They bring you a variety of food, without really telling you what you are getting. In my opinion this is a great way to try new and different types of food. The best thing is that is was only 20 euro per person for pretty much all you can eat and drink.

Spaghetti House is located in a town called Motta Sant’anastasia which is a little town only 10 minutes from where I live nestled up on a steep hill. It has centuries of history behind it and Mt. Etna provides a gorgeous backdrop as you drive up to this mid-century baroque village. A dark beautiful Norman castle from the 12th century is nestled high up on the hill which is its famous landmark and can be seen for miles and you will see this as you drive towards the city center. You are immediately transported back in time to a place where the roads were built for horses and not for Fiat’s once you park your car on the street and make your way towards the Spaghetti House. This is friendly quaint casual restaurant that sits on a popular main road in Motta. The downside on this night was that the dining room was too chilly for me and karoke music had started at 10 p.m. and it was loud. The menu is simple and ordering is easy since the owner speaks English. Typical pasta dishes and appetizers like bruschetta, pizza, antipasto, and Marsala style meat dishes are prepared here without being fussy. The spaghetti pormodoro was ordered for our kids and we ended up indulging ourselves because it was so tasty. The clam pasta was amazing too. We ordered the house red wine and again, it was served in a carafe carrying lots of flavor without being too bold or mild. The one thing I enjoy about Sicily is the simplicity of the ingredients that are full of flavor without being pretentious. That’s what you find at Spaghetti House.
