The Trastevere neighborhood was one of my favorite places in Rome, charming and bustling. You’ll find it nestled near a south bend of the Tiber River, south of Vatican City and Villa Borghese. After all the ruins, churches and museums, it was nice to find place to relax on a warm summer evening with a glass of wine, people watch and enjoy some delightful cheese & black pepper pasta. Simple and delicious. After meandering the cobblestone streets, we found some fun night life on Tiber Island, a short walk down to the river and over a bridge.
