Perilli is one of my favorite restaurant in Rome. The restaurant serves traditional Roman dishes(bucatini all’amatriciana, spaghetti alla carbonara, cacio e Pepe, Carciofi alla guides and so on) as well as a tasty pizza. The quality of the food is pretty good. Yesterday we got: fried zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese(fiori di zucca fritti), artichokes Roman-style(fried) and Jewish-style(carciofi fritti ed alla Giudea). As main dish I got Roman-style breaded lamb chops(Costolette d’abbacchio fritte) and as a side dish I got my beloved Puntarelle(bitter green leaves tossed with lemon juice, olive oil and anchovies). My friends got Pizza and Roman-style Tripe(Trippa alla romana). The food was scrumptious as always. Service almost impeccable just a little slow but in their defense the restaurant was packed. Highly recommend!
