It was quite crowded this evening with lots of Irish who saw the rugby a bit earlier in the day. Don’t know if the crowd was the reason but the food was very mediocre and the waiters not the friendliest. I had a calzone and it was far from one of the better ones that I have ever had. My wife’s pasta tasted like it was cooked in the early afternoon and then just microwaved. The wine was good though but we ordered antipasta too and were given a mediocre selection. There are a lot better restaurants in Rome.

I really enjoyed this place. My buddy and I got a AirBnB nearby and we were exhausted from flying on the crappy airliner EasyJet. We took a cab and got dropped off in front of the condo. Before we got our keys we started walking cause we was HUNGRY!!! Just a warning to fellow travelers, Rome… Outside the main areas, holy crap no one speaks english, lots of pointing and busting out my spanish to connect some of the words. Also, good translate for the win.
We came into this restaurant and asked for the best dishes. We were like give us the best salad, best pasta and best pizza. We straight went fat ass on this place and was so amazing. Didn’t see many locals, however there was randomly a Best Western in the middle of this very italian place so you may be there and reading this you should definitely walk here. Like a 5 min walk from you. Anyways, the pizza was great and the pasta was pretty amazing. The tuna salad was so-​so, just tasted like something simple. The price was beyond reasonable. Highly recommend! Great spot!
