very far gone!!! hamburger is another story! I had tasted a Sicilian meat with typical red onions from the area! but the bun was stiffy and the meat overcook! but seems local people liked that way! I will keep in mind for next time will review a recipe

It seems somehow wrong to review a hamburger joint in Italy at all, much less a special place like Ortigia. But on a long trip to Sicily, after days and days of incredible fish and pasta and fish, one longs for a bit of home. L’Hamburgeria delivers, and then some, and a little more after that too. Custom burgers, with many choices of meat (veggie too), buns, accompaniments, and condiments (including basil mayo, and fennel mayo), awesome fries and «chips» (really just round French fries), a great bar selection including artisanal beers, a beautiful space and very friendly and helpful waiters, this was a brief trip back home again. Molto bene!
