Just okay food. Overpriced, including the 4 Euro cover which, in our case, consisted of two slices of dried-out bread and two grissini packs. Inconsistent service, at times pushy service. A tourist trap taking advantage of its location next-door to the Fenice Theatre. Our opinion: «Pass!»

Venice can be very hit or miss when it comes to dining. Our lunch was a bit on the expensive side for a few glasses of house wine, pizza and a salad. We were not crazy about the 10 € surcharge either. Didn’t think too much of it and simply enjoyed the food which was 6⁄10 and the location. We sat in a shade covered zigzag plaza, outside a massive church. The pedestrian traffic made up for the meal. We most likely would not eat here again, but have a lovely souvenir certainly worth 10 €… We give it 2⁄5 boots

This restaurant is right next to the Theatre. The service is very good, and the wait staff are very friendly. They are also very open to changes in the ingredients. My son wanted to modify his dish, and they accommodated a young kid with no fuss. The Mixed Grill(seafood) is awesome. It really is amazing. And the grilled fish was exceptional. They come and carve all the fish at the table, so you don’t have to do too much work, to enjoy the wonderful food. I would recommend at least one dinner at this on a visit to Venice.

It is quite touristy and right next to the theatre and as a result also reasonably expensive. You have to pay € 4 per person cover charge and an average size pizza can run you about € 12 – 16. The food is nice and tasty and the service is good. I had pizza here and I enjoyed it. It was a little different in the sense that the crust was a lot softer and chewy as opposed to be being crispy and chewy and I did not mind it at all. The Pannacotta for dessert with berries was also quite good and I enjoyed it a lot. The coffee is ok and the staff were prompt and friendly. Given the choice and time I would go elsewhere as you can great pizza for a lot less in town. If you want a more upmarket setting then I would pick this place as it is a great spot for people watching and it is right next to the theatre.
