Pizzeria Il Fauno

The fixed menu here isn’t as good as other nearby restaurants but ordering al la cart is straightforward and doesn’t require any Italian language skills. Bonus, they usually have tirimusu or cake and dessert can be hard to find in Italy at times. My favorite pizza is the Italia with tomato, spinach and ricotta. Large party rooms to accommodate big groups and great bathrooms. Cute little gum ball style machines with toys take euro coins.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to here in Vincenza. They always have specials and they’re worth trying. Had the best meatball I’ve tried here. The Florida pizza is really good too. Staff is very friendly and helpful and most speak english. Good prices too.

The food was delicious and they happily accommodated to our large group. I’m sad we didn’t go back again before leaving.

Great staff and amazing food. After traveling all over Italy, I find this place has the best food and the best prices!

This is a busy restaurant because of it’s proximity to the base but the food is terrible. I’ve been here several times because of the convenience and because I was in a group but it has to be the worse food I’ve had in Vicenza. The ingredients taste old. Nothing about their food seems fresh. There are far better places to eat in Vicenza.

We just moved to the area, and tonight was our first time at Il Fauno. The staff was friendly, and food was delicious. However, the service wasn’t all that great. That’s the reason for the 3 star rating. It was only my husband and I that ordered food. He ordered a mixed seafood pasta and I ordered a pizza. They brought out his pasta, and completely forgot about my pizza. A family of 4 that arrived after us (which each ordered a pizza) got all their food, and they finished eating before I even got mine. My husband’s pasta got cold bc he was waiting for me so they took his pasta back to heat it up again. Will we be back? Probably. Maybe it was just an off day (fingers crossed), because they weren’t busy.

Food is good. Nothing extraordinary. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I will likely return to try more of their dishes. I tried the Cannelloni and Meat Lasagna.

This was my first restaurant I was taken out to eat at with some friends after moving here to Vicenza and I have to say that it was very good! The staff were very friendly and very helpful with the menu and food choices! I will be back for sure!

Very good food. The only thing I was wondering was if it was catered more towards americans or if this was real authentic Italian food. Even still, it was very good.

Love the spicy sauce (ms: Arabiata) and customer service. It’s Italian owned but they know how to speak English very well and is very focus on your needs especially with early dinner times! It’s great for lunch and dinner.

Blech. We ate there because it was recommended by our hotel. By recommend, they surely meant, «exists and close enough to walk to.»
HOWEVER, if it is important to you, they speak English. The family running it is sooo super nice, too. I just wasn’t impressed at all with the food. I really wanted to like it. :(

Great menu, very good Prosecco and Great for groups! Decent prices and family friendly atmosphere.

Went back to this place for dinner and got the prosciutto and buffalo cheese (which seems like mozzarella) and had a few glasses of their house wine.
I also got the fettucine with boar meat sauce. This dish was much more tastier than the last time I was there. My friend got the gnocchi with pumpkin sauce that was pretty good too.
While I gave it a conservative rating, this place is great to bring a large group and family friendly. The staff was very patient with them running around. Something necessary with a whole bunch of toddlers running around.

1^st place I ate to when I moved to Italy… the people here are so friendly and the food is AWESOME there may be some better places I mean it is Italy but this place will always be one of my favorites

The service was good and the food even better. As I tried to speak Italian the waitress helped me in english and simply brought an english menu. I will definately be back for more with their brickoven pizza and large selection of other foods.
Their desert menu is nothing like their capability and you will need to ask for what they have available beyond the menu offered.
The staff, seemed very social and a couple of them sat with some of the patrians and enjoyed wine and conversation.
I am looking forward to enjoying another meal there tonight.

This is where I learned about «real» Italian food. Over the course of almost 3 years I ate everything off the menu from their Spaghetti Carbonara, Fruitta de Mare, Porcini Risotto, to Pasta Fagioli and more. I havent even mentioned their PIZZAS! Truly delicious. After having pizza at Il Faunos you may never like other pizza again. But that’s coming from someone who has moved back to the states and is captive to local «Italian» restaraunts. Employees of Il Fauno arent just like family, they are family. If you’re stationed at Caserma Ederle you must stop in here. You will never forget it. I havent!

Una pizzeria a conduzione familiare che lavora tantissimo con la base nato vicina. Andrea ed i fratelli sono sempre gentilissimi. Le pietanze (lasagna, melanzane alla parmigiana, etc…) sono fatte in casa e buonissime. Un locale dove ci si sente sempre benvenuti e parte della famiglia stessa. Un locale dove il cibo e’ buonissimo, gli ingredienti di alta qualita’ e il costo e’ super onesto! Ma dove lo trovate un menu’ a prezzo fisso per il pranzo con primo, secondo, contorno, bibita e caffe’ per 10 euro!!!
