This Nishimura coffee is a representative café of Kobe, while Inoda coffee is that of Kyoto. I had been interested in the tasteful atmosphere of this café standing on the Kitano slope. I had never been here, because only members were allowed to enter the café. However it has been open to public since the Great Hanshin and Awaji Earthquake. Finally I set foot in the coffee shop of the red brick with ivies twisted up. Inside and ornaments were a very classic and nostalgic ambience. It was not so wide and tables and seats are spaciously installed. I felt relaxed with a comfy sofa-type chair. My friends ordered drinks and cakes, while I ordered only café latte, because I went on a diet then. I was worried if there was whipped cream in the café latte, because classic café like this shop seemed to provide whipped cream in the café au lait or café latte. And I asked the staff member about it, he politely answered there was no whipped cream in it. I felt relieved. A big container with full of café latte arrived to me. I saw my friends eating cakes, which were not elaborate, but simple and prevalent ones. The cup with the blue logo of the shop’s name was impressive.
