During our stay in Kyoto, we lodged at an Airbnb near this coffee shop. Alas, our host wasn’t very hospitable and so we had to resort to the hospitality of this local gem to make our start into the day a good and tasty one. Their coffee is strong and delicious, although it takes forever until they’ve prepared it. My favorite items on the menu are the sandwiches with Japanese flavor. What they do here is this: they take the basic idea of a Western style sandwich and merry it with Japanese flavors. Love it! This café has a smoking and a non-smoking section. But the air condition works well and so you can relax in here even if you’re a non-smoker.

Rating des Ortes: 3 沖縄県, Japan
Ate breakfast this morning and found the experience to be less than what the 5-star rating promised. Not bad, mind you, just not something that I’d go out of my way for. We ordered the morning set and a pastrami sandwich. The morning set cost 5.60 yen– reasonable. Yes its cute and kind of quirky that your meal is inside the cutout of the toast. Sort of like a bento box. The pastrami sandwich was 800 yen and though the meat was tasty, it was predominantly bread. Presentation was better than expected for this Japanese Diner. Service: Friendly and effective. Overall value hurt this restaurant’s final rating(where did the other half of my egg go?).
