It’s not the same as multiplex. They pick up what they will play at their theater by themselves. Usually at multiplex cannot do that. So here you can watch unpopular but pretty cool movie that you are not able to watch at other theater. Also they are offering specially designed member ship system.
Sometimes they hold stage greeting by a film director who is a foreigner occasionally.
It’s tiny and clean theater and having just three screen here. I feel comfortable.
Recently the number of this type of movie theaters is coming down and down so I’m glad to have this kind of theater in the middle of Kyoto city!

very clean and comfortable seats
show mainly not famous but very good sense of movies (foreign or Japanese)
in shijo-karasumaru（四条烏丸）
near LAQUE
ここは本当に映画作品のチョイスのセンスが良いです。
ただ単に収入のために人気な映画作品を集めるわけではなく、
自国・他国を関係なしに良い作品を扱った映画館です。
映画見たいけど、なにを見たらいいか分かんない時、
ここにくれば後悔することはないと思います。
