This place was not bad. We were hungry and needed a place to eat before heading to Fushimi Inari Shrine, so we stopped in to eat. I ordered a simple zaru soba and my husband ordered the tori nanba udon. We also ordered grilled quail as a side dish. 3 stars for food — the quail we ordered wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best. The food is ok for the price you’re paying. Of course since it’s in the middle of a tourist trap, I expect it to be more expensive. It satisfied lunch but wasn’t the best in the world. 3 for service — the people were nice but a bit slow. We asked for a spoon and never got it. We also ordered more tea and it never came. The total was about ¥2200 which is decent but could have been better for what we ordered. If you need a quick place to eat for lunch, it’s not a bad place. If I do come back, I might try the oyakodon or any of the rice bowl dishes.

pretty good sweet inari snacks. Served cold, on a plate and quite filling. Good space to grab a quick bite after the hike to through the fushimi inari shrine. I liked it. Not really a needed spot to stop by, but quite satisfying
