Pretty good yudofu place we stopped for lunch. A little on the spendy side($ 30pp) but the food was good and it was likely a good choice to the more touristy places sitting right out on the main street. I had wanted to stop in here for a while and finally got a chance. It’s out off the main street in an old house and there’s a little garden outside. There were about 4 small courses, an appetizer that I am not recalling at this moment, a trio of seasonal vegetable preperations(eggplant, bamboo shoot, pressed sushi of tofu), some fried items made of vegetable tofu(a fried yuba sheet, a fried piece of tofu, a packet of fried nori containing grated mountain yam which was delicious on the rice), pickles and rice, and then finally the yudofu itself, along with green onion, grated ginger and grated spicy daikon(momiji-oroshi) for the sauce. Nice sort of tranquil relaxed space. Like I said, a bit expensive but really pretty good.
