This ramen is otherworldly(compared to any other ramen I’ve had, which includes countless cups of noodles and packs of instant marachun in the United States, and one bowl late last night in Osaka). The broth is thick and rich and meaty, like any contestant on «Millionaire Matchmaker«, with surprise hunks of pork and radish(?) and green onions. It’s topped with nori and some extra seasoning(a little spice?). Honestly I’m guessing at what’s inside, because I’ve never tasted anything like it. I added on a smoked egg, and the jewel colored yolk was reminiscent of my tastiest dreams. The noodles were cooked to be sturdy enough to hold up to dipping in the broth, but soft enough to slurp. As an amateur noodle slurper, I look forward to the day when I can return to revel in the joy of this bowl of ramen again.
